     Jessie Reese was born in September 1886 at Delaware Co. (probably), IN. She was the daughter of Henry L. Reese and Luella F. Linville. Jessie Reese married Sidney E. Acker on 22 December 1906 at Delaware Co., IN.

     Joel Reese died. He married Esther Keller, daughter of Karl Keller and (?) Stoner.

     John Reese married Elizabeth (?).

     John Reese was born on 24 January 1857 at Northampton Co., PA.¹ He married Emma Marie Knauss circa 1877.¹ John Reese died on 25 February 1932 at Pratt Co., KS, at age 75. He was buried in 1932 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt, Pratt Co., KS.

     John T. Reese married Susannah H. Worrell, daughter of Edward Worrell. John T. Reese was born on 3 November 1847 at Marple Twp., PA. He was the son of Eli Reese and (?) Lizzie. John T. Reese married Clara Brackney in 1876. John T. Reese died in 1907 at Coopertown.

     Joseph Reese was the son of John T. Reese and Clara Brackney.

     Laura May Reese married Frederick Arbuary Gardner, son of John George Gardner and Emily Bridle. Laura May Reese was born on 5 October 1889. She was the daughter of Anna Elizabeth Reese. Laura May Reese died in 1975.

     Lelia E. Reese was born on 28 March 1895 at Delaware Co., IN. She was the daughter of Henry L. Reese and Luella F. Linville. Lelia E. Reese married Everett F. Tipton on 26 June 1916 at Delaware Co., IN.

     Lucy Reese was born on 25 October 1870 at Hempstead, Waller Co., TX.¹ She was the daughter of Judge Thomas Sidney Reese and Mary Virginia Lester. Lucy Reese married David Wendel Spence, son of Joseph Spence and Margaretta Deaderick Wendel. Lucy Reese died on 1 June 1959 at Dallas, Dallas Co., TX, at age 88.      Margaret Reese married James Hunter.

     Margaret Reese was born in April 1818 at Ohio.^1,2 She married David Haller Clippinger, son of John George Clippinger and Susannah Haller.¹ Margaret Reese lived on 16 June 1900 at Van Wert, Van Wert Co., OH, living with son Adelbert's family.²

     Mary Reese was born circa 1873 at Miami Co. (probably), OH.¹ She was the daughter of James B. Reese and Elizabeth Gebhart.¹

     Mary Samantha Reese was born on 4 October 1866 at Kaufman Co., TX.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Jefferson Reese and Mary Ann Tudor.³ Mary Samantha Reese married William Hess Windell on 18 September 1889 at Kaufman Co., TX.      Matilda Reese was born on 29 January 1855 at Greene Co., OH, Father born Pennsylvania, mother born Maryland, per 1900 census info.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Reese and Catherine Bovey. Matilda Reese married Jacob Stewart, son of John Stewart and Margaret Trubee, circa 1877, 11 children born, 10 living as of 1900 census.¹ Matilda Reese died on 30 April 1937 at Greene Co., OH, at age 82.

     May E. Reese was the daughter of John T. Reese and Susannah H. Worrell.

     Nora Marsella Reese was born on 8 June 1917 at Hancock Co., OH; daughter of Pearl J. and Jessie May (Clymer) Reese. She married Norman Elliott King, son of Wade S. King and Mable Virgie Wyer. Nora Marsella Reese died on 11 May 2014 at age 96

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Marsella Reese King, 96, of Sacramento, and formerly of Mount Cory, died Sunday, May 11, 2014.

She married Norman King, and he preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons, Edward of North Carolina; Don of Salinas, California; and Dean of Hemet, California; and a daughter, Nancy Zappas, Rocklin, California.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Findlay.

     Susan Reese was born on 8 October 1844 at Beavercreek Twp., Greene Co., OH. She was the daughter of Peter Reese and Catherine Bovey. Susan Reese married Henry Clay Stewart, son of John Stewart and Margaret Trubee, on 31 October 1867 at Greene Co., OH. Susan Reese died on 2 January 1938 at Beavercreek Twp., Greene Co., OH, at age 93.

     Susan A. Reese was born on 7 December 1866. She married Hiram Hoffman. Susan A. Reese died on 24 February 1950 at age 83. She was buried in February 1950 at Beaver Creek Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Beaver Creek, Washington Co., MD, Findagrave #91042223.

Distinguished Jurist. Patriot and Citizen Entered Into Rest.
Judge T. S. Reese passed peacefully away at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of this son-in-law and daughter. Prof and Mrs. D. W. Spence, at the A&M College. He had been in very feeble health for a long time and his death was not altogether unexpected.

Judge Reese was a native of Selma Ala., 71 years of age, and was one of the best known and best beloved citizens of Texas. Distinguished as a jurist, patriot and citizen, he held a warm place in the hearts of the people of the State, who loved him for his many virtues, his spotless and blameless life.

For nine years he had been associate justice of the Court of Civil Appeals, First Supreme Judicial District at Galveston, and never was the bench of Texas rendered more distinguished service, nor the judicial ermine worn with greater honor and blameless integrity.

The manner of man Judge Reese was is best described by his colleague, Chief Justice of the Court of Civil Appeals of the First Supreme Judicial District Robert A. Pleasants: "The zeal, profoundness and scholarly attainments of Judge Reese made him loved of all who knew him. His was a rich personality. Always jovial and possessed of a rich and refined sense of humor, his company was well kept by any man. Into his work he carried an earnestness and zealous industry characteristic of the manner of man he was. His opinions were the results of scholarly attainments, patience, profundity and prodigious research. The State has lost a valuable servant, the people a friend and his intimates a well-beloved comrade."

Judge Reese is survived by four children – Mrs. D. W. Spence of College, Mrs. W. E. Heslep of Austin, J. V. Reese of Houston and G. L. Reese of Houston.

The remains were taken to Hempstead, the old family home, at 4 o'clock this afternoon, and will be laid to rest in that city at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon beside his wife, who died in 1904. Many friends from College and Bryan attended the short services held at College this afternoon preceding the departure for Hempstead.

Mrs. Clare Newell

Zona Priscilla Reese was born May 8, 1894 near Little River, Kans. She passed away on Nov. 28, 1943 at Feldhut Hospital in Stafford, Kans., at the age of 49 years 6 months and 23 days.

Her parents, Emma and John Reese had migrated in the early days from Pennsylvania. In her early childhood the family moved to Pratt county, four and one-half miles northeast of Pratt. Here Zona grew to young womanhood, and graduated from Pratt high school. Later she attended Normal there and also Teachers College at Emporia. She taught two years in Antrim schools and finished her career as a teacher at the Eureka school in the spring of 1920.

Zona was united in marriage to Everett Clare Newell on Oct. 27, 1920 at Pratt, Kans. To this happy union five children were born, Beth Kathleen, Lois Maxine, Calvin Clare, Dean Lee, and Wayne Everett.

In this good Christian home these children have been patiently and lovingly taught the right ways of living.

Zona professed her faith in Christ, her Lord, at an early age, and joined the Christian church at Pratt, where she remained a faithful member, until she joined her husband in the Eureka Methodist church at the time of her marriage. She has enjoyed working in the Sunday School and in different departments of the church and in the community.

She loved flowers. It was a hobby with her to grow and share them with others.

About four years ago her health began to fail, which caused her to be missing from her accustomed place at times. During several months she has been cared for lovingly by all her family. All that skill and love could do has been finished, and the Heavenly Father, who doeth all things well, called her gently away to a better land, in the evening of Nov. 28.

We love to think of her happy disposition, her kind consideration for others, her sweet and ready smile, her good hospitality.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Clare, and five children, also four sisters, Mrs. Clara Cochran, Wichita; Mrs. Fannie Bigwood, Pratt; Mrs. Sadie Armstrong, Pratt; Mrs. Abbie Sherrell, Wichita, her stepmother Mrs. Emma Reese, Allentown, Pa., and two brothers, Eli Reese, Pratt, and Milton C. Reese, Modesto, Calif., and a host of friends and relatives.

The funeral was held in the Eureka Methodist church Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 2:30 p.m. Rev. J. Ralph Watkins, pastor of the church, delivered the sermon. Peacock & Soice were in charge. Interment was in the Stafford cemetery.
