Kenneth Edward Ricci, age 93, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

A Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. Saturday, February 8th at the Utica Township Community Building. Interment will be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery, Utica. Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Kenneth was born June 8, 1926 in LaSalle, Illinois, a son of Frank and Josephine (Hack) Ricci. He married Wilma Biggs July 4, 1948. He later married Shirley Fuller April 21, 2001 at the Wedron United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons, Douglas and Jeff Ricci of Ottawa; a brother, Monte (Lura) Ricci of Utica; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Edward Ricci; a granddaughter, Tracy Jo Ricci; a brother, Frank (Mary) Ricci; and sisters, Mame Marz, Josephine Ricci and Madeline (Bob) Carrico.

Kenneth had been a member of the Wedron United Methodist Church and Residents Against a Polluted Environment. He enjoyed playing the piano and keyboard and working with electronics. Kenneth was always imaginative which led to many of his inventions.

He was buried in January 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Utica, LaSalle Co., IL, Findagrave #206616449.

     Ada Belle Rice was born on 21 November 1922 at Macon Co., MO. She was the daughter of Harold Malcolm Rice and Lenna Pearl Windle. Ada Belle Rice married Earnest Wayne Phillips on 15 April 1948. Ada Belle Rice lived in 1958 at Wichita, Sedgwick Co., KS.

     Albert Rice was born circa 1853 at Shenandoah Co. (probably), VA, Age of 7 given in 1860 census -- probably closer to correct than age of 15 given in 1870.^1,2 He was the son of John Harper Rice and Harriet Elizabeth Windle.¹

Jefferson, IA - Services for Albert Rice, 86, of Scranton, who died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hastings Funeral Home here. Burial will be at Dillavou Cemetery near Scranton.

Mr. Rice was born in Bagley and farmed in the Scranton area for many years.

Survivors include four sons: Leonard of Des Moines, Lyle of West Des Moines, Howard and Donald both of Jefferson; two daughters: Dorothy Esslinger of Bayard and Judy Stodgil of Knoxville; 31 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

A prayer service will be at :30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Member of Evangelical Covenant Church.

He loved his family, enjoyed taking all the grandchildren on special vacation trips, wintering in Florida, golfing, bowling and caring for "his girls" ( his herd of cows).

Funeral service 11am Monday, January 28 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate, with Pastor Stacey Littlefield officiating.

Visitation 3-7pm Sunday.
