     John Martin Ritter was born on 16 February 1870.¹ He was the son of Joel Ritter and Rebecca Matilda Giering.¹ John Martin Ritter married Mary Booz Price, daughter of Benjamin Reiff Price and Mary Anna Booz, on 12 March 1892.¹ John Martin Ritter lived in 1920 at Upper Saucon, Lehigh Co., PA. He died on 2 June 1939 at age 69

John M. Ritter, of 743 S. Hall St., Allentown, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Landis, Station Ave., Coopersburg, where he had been ill three weeks. He was in his 70th year. He was a son of the late Joel and Rebecca (Knauss) Ritter. Mr. Ritter was a member of the Moravian church, Coopersburg. Surviving are his wife, Mamie, nee Price, Ritter; five daughters and two sons, Mae, wife of Fred Bernhard; Marion, wife of Frank Schaffer, both of Center Valley; Minnie, wife of Raymond Landis; Florence, wife of Paul Hersh; Earl Ritter, all of Coopersburg; Dorothy, at home; and William, Allentown; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers and a sister, Richard of Rayette, N.Y; Milton of Newtown; Morris of Coopersburg R. 2; and Mrs. Rebecca Steininger, Coopersburg. Two sons preceded him in death.

The funeral will be held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Landis, Coopersburg, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Continued services will follow in Moravian church, Coopersburg, and interment will be made in Woodlawn cemetery, Blue church.

     Kenneth Wilbur Ritter was born on 16 September 1922 at Macungie, Lehigh Co., PA. He was the son of William Henry Ritter and Mary Ann Bilger. Kenneth Wilbur Ritter began military service WW II service, U.S. Army, 11th Air Corps, 58th Fighter Control Squadron. Participated in the Battle of the Aleution Islands. He married Edna Reither in 1947. Kenneth Wilbur Ritter died on 11 April 2005 at Cherryville, Lehigh Co., PA, at age 82.

     Laura Alice Ritter was born circa 1857 at Stephensburg, Frederick Co., VA.¹ She was the daughter of Strother Ritter and Eliza Catherine Carper.

     Leon Ritter was born on 4 June 1898.¹ He was the son of John Martin Ritter and Mary Booz Price.¹ Leon Ritter died on 11 December 1907 at age 9.¹
