Robert ames Roach

Robert James Roach passed away on February 17th 2012 at his home in Denver Colorado after battling prostate and bone cancer. Robert was born June 13th, 1955 in Denver Colorado to Viola Jane Sherratt Roach and Willard Roach. Robert worked for Albertsons Distribution Center as a Fork Lift Operator for 27 years and retired in 2009. His passion was music and the drums. Robert was a talented drummer and musician he had played since he was a little boy, all the way to the last few days of the end of his life.

Robert is survived by his wife Tonya Roach, His two daughters Alisha Roach Hager, Terrie Lackner, his Grandchildren Destiny, Haleigh, Ashton, Karson, Mason, one on the way, and Kevin. His Father Willard Roach, his sister Diane Borrusch, and his brothers Clarence Roach, Bill Roach, Kenny Roach, and Richard Roach.

Robert's wishes were to be cremated with a service following, which will be held at Horan & McConaty Family chapel, 3020 Federal Blvd. Denver, Colorado 80211 on Friday February 24th, 2012 at 1:00 pm.

Bob as I knew him by was a very special man. I would love to share one of many special memories of him. When I was in the hospital, after having our baby, I had to stay in the hospital for six days. I was feeling kind of down. And Bob showed up with a little stuffed monkey with a diaper on. He even went so far as cutting a hole in the diaper. So the monkey' s tail could fit through. It made me laugh so hard I thought I would ripe out all my stitches. That's what I'll miss the most was Bob's humor. I am so sorry about your loss. At least I'll have my memories. He was a very kind and gentle man. May he rest in peace.

     Arthur Vern Roadifer was born on 10 March 1894 at Sundance, Crook Co., WY. He was the son of Walter Roadifer and Anna L. Curry. Arthur Vern Roadifer married Ada Pearl Mahnke on 16 November 1935 at Fall River Co., SD; one daughter and five sons to the marriage. Arthur Vern Roadifer died on 17 December 1962 at Ft. Meade, Meade Co., SD, at age 68.

     Harold Marion Roadifer was born on 23 May 1902 at Weston Co. (probably), WY. He was the son of Walter Roadifer and Anna L. Curry. Harold Marion Roadifer married Mildred Muriel McKeen before April 1940; Mildred had a son Clarence Temper (1923-1971) from her first marriage, who was raised as a step-son of Harold Roadifer and took the Roadifer surname. Harold Marion Roadifer began military service on 24 February 1941 at Sheridan, Sheridan Co., WY, WW II service, enlisted, U.S. Army. He was buried in April 1979 at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, Hillsborough Co., FL, Findagrave #51324985. He died on 30 May 1979 at Hillsborough Co., FL, at age 77.

     Roscoe Lawrence Roadifer was also known as "Ross". He was born on 12 November 1904 at Newcastle, Weston Co., WY. He was the son of Walter Roadifer and Anna L. Curry. Roscoe Lawrence Roadifer began military service on 3 March 1942 at Ft. Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., KS, WW II service, U.S. Army, enlisted. He died on 9 August 1968 at Ft.      Lewis Roadruck married Elizabeth Margaret Klepinger, daughter of Jacob Klepinger and Mary Campbell, on 29 January 1857 at Tippecanoe Co., IN.

A member of Northeast Baptist Church; and was retired from Armco and Steelox Systems, Inc.

He was an Army veteran in the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Roads is survived by his wife, Nancy Howells Roads; daughter, Pamela (Jae) Montgomery;sons, Phillip (Janet) Roads and Michael (Susie) Roads; stepdaughters, Marcy (Barry) Conley and Rebecca Howells; stepsons, Randy (Melinda) Howells and Eric (Marla) Howells; 17 grandchildren; special friends, Bob, Helen, Bev. and Sandy Wiley; sisters, Elizabeth Hull,Josephine Lyle, Martha Schmidt and Ruth Adams; and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth E. Adams, age 90, of Greenfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe following a brief illness.

She was born July 18, 1932 in Greenfield, Ohio, the daughter of Julius and Edith (DeHass) Roads.

She was a 1950 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School.

She married William Adams in 1955 and was happily married until his passing in 2002.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses, Mary Martha (Eddie) Schmidt, Josephine (Eugene) Lyle, Elizabeth (Eddie) Hull, Carl (Dorothy) Roads and Lloyd Roads; niece, Susan Cooper; nephews, George Hull, Bob Lyle, Mike Roads; and both parents.

She is survived by two sons, John Adams of Columbus and Thomas Adams of Dayton; daughter-in-law, Kally Adams of Dayton; two grandsons, Nicholas Adams of Cincinnati and James Adams of Dayton; many loving nephews and nieces including Mary Ellen Mark, Janet Boone, Dale Schmidt, Dana Schmidt, Jim Lyle, Harold Lyle, Cathy Pavlick, Phil Roads, Pam Wise, and their spouses and children.

Ruth was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a life long member of the Greenfield First United Methodist Church. She was very active in many church activities and taught Sunday school for over 60 years.

Ruth loved to go on walks several times a day, and her favorite hobby among her many interests was knitting.

Ruth also loved to travel and enjoyed being around her friends especially the rosebud gang.

Ruth was happiest spending time with her family, especially with Bill, John, Tom, Kally, Nick and Jimmy.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 6 at the Greenfield First United Methodist Church with Pastor Susan Keeton officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 5 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield and 10:00 A.M until 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 6 at the Greenfield First United Methodist Church.

Henry Luther Roahrig was degree Bachelor's degree, Civil Engineering, Purdue University. Henry L Roahrig, 84 of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Bourbon, died May 25, 1994 in Tucson of natural causes. Mr Roahrig retired from the United States Public Health Services and Blanton & Company, Tucson. He was born 17 May, 1910 in Bourbon and was a Tucson resident since 1957 coming from Bourbon. His wife Lucille survives with two daughters, Luanne Matteucci of Las Vegas and Jean Clark of Indianapolis; a son Hank of Norwalk, California; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters Thelma Hall of Bourbon and Marilee Koontz of Fort Wayne; and a brother Guy of Bourbon. He received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Purdue University. There were no services or visitations. Cremation took place. Swan Funeral Home, Tucson was in charge of arrangements.

     Jean Ellen Roahrig was born on 9 December 1935 at Marshall Co. (probably), IN. She was the daughter of Henry Luther Roahrig and Bertha Lucille Wright. Jean Ellen Roahrig married John Robert Clark. Jean Ellen Roahrig died on 2 April 2002 at Chesapeake, Chesapeake Co., VA, at age 66.

     Urban Guy Roahrig was born circa 1886 at Ohio. He married Coral Eva Banks.

     Cap Roark was born on 23 March 1893 at Oklahoma.¹ He began military service WW I service, U.S. Army. He married Geneva Beatrice Thompson on 29 February 1920 at Sequoyah Co., OK.¹ Cap Roark lived on 24 April 1930 at Vian Twp., Sequoyah Co., OK, farmer.¹ He died in January 1968 at Vian, Sequoyah Co., OK, at age 74.

     Cecil J. Roark was born on 27 February 1936 at Vian, Sequoyah Co., OK, WW II draft registration.¹ He was the son of Cap Roark and Geneva Beatrice Thompson.¹ Cecil J. Roark married Dorothy Beachler, daughter of Guy Walter Beachler and Anna Pauline Red. Cecil J. Roark died on 3 August 2018 at El Paso, El Paso Co., TX, at age 82.
