Visitation is 6:30 - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Schlicher died Friday, April 6, 2001, at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island.
She owned and raised horses most recently in the Milan area and had worked at Sylvania and Breck Hair Products, both in Fort Madison.
Carlene Roxlau was born April 21, 1934, in Fort Madison.
A memorial fund has been established.
Survivors include her long-time companion, Bill Arnold; sons, Steven, Hamilton and Carl, Silvis; two grandchildren; sisters, Arletta "Rocky" Menke and Judy Kirchner, both of Fort Madison; and a brother, John Roxlau, West Point, Iowa.

She was born on Jan. 20, 1942 in Fort Madison to Carl & Pauline Stump Roxlau. She married Roger L. Kirchner on June 17, 1961 in Fort Madison. She was a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph Church and enjoyed cooking for the church and her family for many years.
Judy is survived by her husband, Roger Kirchner of Fort Madison; one son: Dennis (Kimberly) Kirchner of Wever; one daughter: Sherri (Jay) Fullenkamp of West Point; three grandchildren, Clay Fullenkamp of West Point, and Brett and Bailey Kirchner both of West Virginia; her twin brother: John (Dixie) Roxlau of West Point; one sister, Arletta (Pete) Menke of Fort Madison, and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Scott Kirchner and one sister, Carlene Schlicher.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, with the family to receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.
