     Florence C. Ruschhaupt was born on 25 March 1915 at Indiana. She was the daughter of William August Ruschhaupt and Emma Hibner.¹ Florence C. Ruschhaupt married Frederick Reece DeVault, son of William Walker DeVault and Estella Mae Pence. Florence C. Ruschhaupt died on 3 March 2006 at age 90.      William August Ruschhaupt was born on 13 July 1874 at Indiana.¹ He married Emma Hibner on 14 April 1904 at Marion Co., IN. William August Ruschhaupt died on 17 October 1945 at age 71.      Gladys Joan Ruse was born circa January 1927 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of (?) Ruse and Iris Charlotte Luckenbill.¹

     Magdalene Ruse was born on 9 January 1831.¹ She married Amos Klepinger, son of John Klepinger and Elizabeth Boyer, in 1853.¹ Magdalene Ruse died on 7 June 1909 at age 78.¹

     Almira Jane Rush was born in November 1852 at Belmont Co., OH. She married Lewis Groves, son of James Groves and Nancy Danford, on 20 October 1870 at Belmont Co., OH. Almira Jane Rush died in 1911 at Belmont Co., OH.

     Catharine Rush married John Leonard Montgomery.¹

     Catherine Rush was born in 1791 at Virginia. She married George Allgeyer on 26 November 1807 at Pickaway Co., OH. Catherine Rush died on 9 April 1873 at Pickaway Co., OH.

     Charles Rush was born at Strasburg, Shenandoah Co., VA. He married Mary Virginia Miller, daughter of James Elhanan Miller and Frances Dodson, in 1914. Charles Rush and Mary Virginia Miller were divorced in 1921.

     Clarkson Benjamin Rush was born in September 1849 at North Carolina.¹ He married Nellie Estella Pierce on 2 August 1895.¹

     Elizabeth Rush was born on 22 August 1842 at McConnellsville, Morgan Co., OH. She was the daughter of Willetts Rush and Mary Ann Boden. Elizabeth Rush married Thomas Craig, son of Thomas Craig and Margaret Shaver, on 4 March 1874 at Brighton, Washington Co., IA. Elizabeth Rush died on 6 May 1877 at Ainsworth, Washington Co., IA, at age 34.

     Ella Rush was born circa 1863 at Worthington, Dubuque Co., IA. She married Nathan Thurston on 5 May 1881 at Linn Co., IA. Ella Rush died before 1893.

     Elverda Louise Rush was born on 23 March 1923. She was the daughter of Isaac G. Rush and Dollie Marie McCullough. Elverda Louise Rush married Wayne Richard Phillips, son of Cecil Marion Phillips and Loala Kint, on 29 September 1941 at Bethany, Harrison Co., MO. Elverda Louise Rush died on 24 February 2005 at age 81. She was buried in February 2005 at Corydon Cemetery, Corydon, Wayne Co., IA.

     Eva Rush was born on 3 December 1897 at Minnesota.² She was the daughter of Clarkson Benjamin Rush and Nellie Estella Pierce.¹ Eva Rush married Oscar Alwin Gilmore, son of Francis Marion Gilmore and Sarah Elizabeth Cozart, on 15 February 1920. Eva Rush died in November 1986 at Pine Co., MN, at age 88 Dates per SSDI, last residence Sandstone.

     Grady Rush was born on 19 October 1903. He married Jessie Helen Harrison, daughter of George Washington Harrison and Minnie Jessie Demorest, on 23 January 1929. Grady Rush died in February 1973 at age 69 Death date per SSDI.

     Isaac G. Rush married Dollie Marie McCullough.

     Leo Glenn Rush was born on 4 October 1928 at Stanford, McLean Co., IL.¹ He was the son of Rufus Rush and Leona Fatheree.¹ Leo Glenn Rush began military service WW II era and Korean War service, U.S. Army. He married Dorothy Elaine Curry, daughter of Taylor Rigg Curry and Charlotte Marcella Lindberg, on 1 August 1950 at Wesley Methodist Church, Bloomington, McLean Co., IL. Leo Glenn Rush died on 14 June 1999 at Muskegon, Muskegon Co., MI, at age 70

Leo G. Rush

Leo G. Rush, 70, of North Muskegon, Mich., formerly of Bloomington, died Monday (June 14, 1999) in Muskegon, Mich.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington, the Rev. Philip Queen officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Friends may meet with the family at the church following the service. Clock Funeral Home, Muskegon, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church; Stanford Presbyterian Church; or the Bloomington Lions Club.

Mr. Rush was born Oct. 4, 1928, in Stanford, the son of Rufus and Leona Fatheree Rush. He married Dorothy Curry on Aug. 1, 1950, in Bloomington. She survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Marsha (Ken) Schoef, Muskegon; one brother, Dean (Dorothy) Rush, Pueblo West Colo; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

Also surviving are four grandchildren, Nick, Kim, Kristina and Jon Schoef, and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Rush; a brother, Gene Rush; and a sister, Barbara Roddey.

Mr. and Mrs. Rush were formerly residents of Bloomington prior to moving to Muskegon in 1995. He worked with his father in the water well drilling business and also as a supervisor at People's Bank.

He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Northside Lions Club and the American Legion, all in Muskegon. He also was the past governor for the District 1-K Illinois Lions Club. He was an Army veteran, serving in World War II as well as the Korean conflict.

He was buried in June 1999 at Park Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum, Bloomington, McLean Co., IL, Findagrave #75686582.

     Lester Detweiler Rush was born on 14 May 1912. He was the son of William M. Rush and Susie G. Detweiler. Lester Detweiler Rush married Margaret Ruth Souder, daughter of Wallace Souder and Ella K. Ruth. Lester D. Rush, 81, of Peter Becker Community, Harleysville, died Wednesday in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. He was the husband of Margaret (Souder) Rush, who died in 1984.

He was a dairyman and crop farmer near Telford from 1937 until recently.

Born in Plumsteadville, he was a son of the late William and Susie (Detweiler) Rush.

He was a member of Rockhill Mennonite Community, Telford.

Survivors: Sons, Glenn of Sellersville, Gerald of Perkasie and Dennis of Souderton; daughters, Evelyn Gallew of Colmar and Marie, wife of Russell Jeffries of Hatfield; brother Paul of Richlandtown; sisters, Carrie Nace of Souderton and Ruth Bergey of Telford; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons, Merrill and Dale.

     Luella Rush was the daughter of William Henry Harrison Rush and Mattie E. Russell. Luella Rush married Robert Ingram.

     Marsha Lee Rush was born on 13 November 1951 at Normal, McLean Co., IL. She was the daughter of Leo Glenn Rush and Dorothy Elaine Curry. Marsha Lee Rush died on 12 April 2003 at North Muskegon, Muskegon Co., MI, at age 51

NORMAL -- Marsha L. Schoepf, 51, of North Muskegon, Mich., a Normal native, died Saturday (April 12, 2003) at her home.

Her funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at First Evangelical Church, the Rev. William Uetricht officiating. Burial will be in Laketon Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Clock Funeral Home, Muskegon, Mich.

She was born Nov. 13, 1951, in Normal, a daughter of Leo and Dorothy Curry Rush. She married Ken Schoepf on May 26, 1973, in Bloomington. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Nicholas and Jonathan Schoepf, both of North Muskegon; two daughters, Kimberly and Kristina Schoepf, both of North Muskegon; her mother'; Dorothy Rush, North Muskegon; father-in-law, Clarence Schoepf of Illinois; and her niece, Robin Schoepf of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Rush in 1970; and by her father, Leo Rush in 1999.

Mrs. Schoepf received her nursing degree from the Methodist School of Nursing in Peoria and had worked as a classroom aid at Reeths Puffer Intermediate School for over 10 years. She was an active member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Reeths Puffer Band Parents Association.

     Merrill Souder Rush was born on 19 June 1947 at Sellersville, Bucks Co., PA. He was the son of Lester Detweiler Rush and Margaret Ruth Souder. Merrill Souder Rush died on 28 April 1951 at Hilltown Twp., Bucks Co., PA, at age 3. Cause of death: Drowned as a result of falling into a well at his parents' home.      Myrtle Beatrice Rush was born on 9 February 1906 at Arkansas. She married William Calvin Harrison, son of George Washington Harrison and Minnie Jessie Demorest, on 17 February 1924. Myrtle Beatrice Rush died on 10 December 1924 at Arkansas at age 18.

     Rachel Rush was born circa 1785 at Maryland. She married William Tallman, son of Benjamin Tallman and Dinah Boone, on 17 April 1834 at Fairfield Co., OH, by Rev. Wm. T. Snow.

     Rachel Rush was born in 1845. She married William Henry Tallman, son of Nathaniel Tallman and Catherine B. Wright. Rachel Rush died in 1885.
