Glenwyn Lansing Sherman married Daisy Irene Messersmith, daughter of Coleman Branson Messersmith and Bertha Amanda Delancey. Glenwyn Lansing Sherman died on 13 January 1953 at North Platte, Lincoln Co., NE, at age 52. Sherman lived on 4 April 1940 at Silver Lake, Lake Co., OR, School Principal.¹ He died on 31 January 1980 at Multnomah Co., OR, at age 72.

     William Hardin Richard Sherman was born in 1864 at Illinois date per headstone. 1900 census shows 1866.^1,2 He was the son of Edmund O. Sherman and Nancy E. Skaggs.³ William Hardin Richard Sherman married Ottillia Windle, daughter of John A. Windle and Clara C. Gordon, on 3 June 1888 at Gage Co., NE, Five children born, all living as of the 1910 census.² William Hardin Richard Sherman lived on 15 April 1910 at Cortland, Gage Co., NE, Carpenter.² He lived on 3 January 1920 at 240 South 23 Street, Lincoln, Lancaster Co., NE, Night watchman.⁴ He died in 1946 at Lancaster Co., NE.      William Tecumseh Sherman was born on 25 June 1892 at Paola, Miami Co., KS. He married Maude Ione Harrison, daughter of George Washington Harrison and Minnie Jessie Demorest, on 25 December 1912 at Chanute, Neosho Co., KS. William Tecumseh Sherman died in 1937 at Chanute, Neosho Co., KS.

     Wilma Fern Sherman was born on 13 January 1926 at Central City, Merrick Co., NE. She was the daughter of Glenwyn Lansing Sherman and Daisy Irene Messersmith. Wilma Fern Sherman married Calvin Maurice Hartwig, son of Dr. Calvin Homer Hartwig and Lulu Gertrude Hoppe, on 27 August 1949. Wilma Fern Sherman died on 22 August 2003 at age 77. She was the daughter of Clarence Shermer and Kate Rana.¹ Louise Shermer married George Bruce Lingenfelter, son of Frederick John Lingenfelter and Marie Finette McComb, on 9 June 1947 at Carson City, NV. Ms. Louise (Shermer) Lingenfelter, of Los Molinos , California, born on December 1, 1928, in Paris, Arkansas, to Kate and Clarence Shermer, passed away at age 89, on February 7, 2018. She graduated from Red Bluff High School. She was a Bookkeeper and Caregiver until retiring in 1990. Louise was the loving wife of the late George Bruce Lingenfelter. She was preceded in death by her sons, David Lingenfelter and Dennis Lingenfelter. Louise is survived by her daughter, Vicki Partington and her brother Wendell Shermer. She also leaves behind her adored dog, Lisa.
