     Sarah Margaret Shipe was also known as "Maggie".¹ She was born on 4 June 1877 at Fort Valley, Shenandoah Co., VA.² She was the daughter of John Shipe and Isabella Frances Smith.² Sarah Margaret Shipe married Levi Franklin Windle, son of Henry Windle and Mary Magdalene Gochenour, in 1898 at Shenandoah Co., VA. Sarah Margaret Shipe married Carey A. Monroe Tucker in 1938. Sarah Margaret Shipe died on 14 September 1953 at Woodstock, Shenandoah Co., VA, at age 76. DR. SHIPLEY DIES; PRACTICED IN PARIS FOR TWENTY YEARS
Dr. Clark Lee Shipley, 58, practicing physician of Paris for the past 20 years, died at 10:30 o'clock on Sunday [Monday] evening. For three years he had been in ill health, suffering from a complication of diseases. A week ago he was taken to Paris hospital where death occurred.
Brief funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic church at 9 o'clock on Wednesday morning and burial will be later at Edgar cemetery. The body is at the Cook & Wright funeral home.
Dr. Shipley was born in Edgar county on February 2, 1881, a son of Amos and Sarah Brackney Shipley. Following his graduation from St. Louis College of Physicians and Surgeons he practiced at Olathe, Kans., and then at Libertyville, Ind.
Surviving are his second wife, formerly Veronica McCormick of Ambia, Ind., to whom he was married in 1931, and three children by a former marriage, including Lester, Elva and Kenneth Shipley, all of Paris.
The deceased is also survived by three brothers and three sisters Amos of Goose Creek, Tex., Courtley and John Shipley, Mrs. Harry Adams, Mrs. Cora Guymon and Mrs. Otha Qualkenbush, all of Paris.
Dr. Shipley was a member of the Aesculapian Medical Society of the Wabash Valley.
The Shipley residence is at 905 South Central avenue.

     Kenneth Clark Shipley was born on 17 September 1918 at Libertyville, Vigo Co., IN. He was the son of Dr. Clark Lee Shipley M.D. and Elizabeth Ann Heazeltine. Kenneth Clark Shipley married June Florence Leafgreen, daughter of Gustav Leafgreen and Selma Victoria Olson. Kenneth Clark Shipley died on 6 February 1990 at Highland, Lake Co., IN, at age 71. He was buried in February 1990 at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, Lake Co., IN.

     Lester Eugene Shipley was born on 4 October 1906 at Olathe, Johnson Co., KS. He was the son of Dr. Clark Lee Shipley M.D. and Elizabeth Ann Heazeltine. Lester Eugene Shipley married Ruth Elizabeth Stanfield, daughter of Ora B. Stanfield and Myrtle Spurgeon, on 17 November 1926 at Newport, Vermilion Co., IN. Lester Eugene Shipley died on 11 November 1996 at Paris, Edgar Co., IL, at age 90.

     Marion Cline Shipley was born on 15 February 1899 at Neodesha, Wilson Co., KS, WW I draft registration.¹ He was the son of Samuel P. Shipley and Florence M. Burkett.¹ Marion Cline Shipley died in November 1975 at Tulsa, Tulsa Co. (probably), OK, at age 76 dates per SSDI, last residence Tulsa.

     Marjorie Shipley was born on 22 July 1930. She was the daughter of William Alwyn Shipley and Leah Marguerite Kennedy. Marjorie Shipley died on 27 July 2016 at age 86.
