CURVIN ARTHUR SMITH, 52, died suddenly at his home, West Franklin Street, on Sunday. He was born in Hanover, Pa., but had been living here for the past 40 years. He was the son of Grover C. and Emma Grace (Springer) Smith. He was a member of the Brethren Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christine (Smith; infant daughter, Beverly; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Smith; sister, Mrs. Charlotte Mills, Hagerstown; brothers, Osborne J., Hagerstown, and Woodrow W. Smith, Los Angeles.
