     Grace N. Snively was born in March 1880 at Carroll Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of John Scott Snively and Mary Jane Kingery.¹

     Helen Snively was born in January 1899 at Antrim Twp., Franklin Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Snively and Mary E. Miller.¹

     Henry Snively was born in February 1900 at Antrim Twp., Franklin Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Snively and Mary E. Miller.¹

     J. Howard Snively was the son of Jacob Stouffer Snively and Martha Jane Eby.

     Jacob Snively married Elizabeth Stoner, daughter of Abraham Stoner and Mary Ann Miller, on 27 May 1799 at Hagerstown, Washington Co., MD.

     Jacob Hege Snively was born on 25 March 1806. He was the son of John Snively and Anna Hege. Jacob Hege Snively married Catherine Stouffer, daughter of Jacob Stouffer and Elizabeth Oberholtzer, on 8 March 1838. Jacob Hege Snively died on 3 May 1852 at age 46.

     Jacob Stouffer Snively was born on 14 August 1847 at Antrim Twp., Franklin Co., PA. He was the son of Jacob Hege Snively and Catherine Stouffer. Jacob Stouffer Snively married Martha Jane Eby on 16 November 1875. Jacob Stouffer Snively married Jennie Criswell after 1875. Jacob Stouffer Snively died in June 1916 at age 68.

     John Snively was born on 25 February 1766 at Franklin Co., PA. He married Anna Hege. John Snively died on 30 June 1844 at age 78.

     John Scott Snively was born on 29 February 1852 at Greencastle, Franklin Co., PA. He married Mary Jane Kingery, daughter of Daniel G. Kingery and Susan Emmert, on 25 December 1877 at Carroll Co., IL, Four children born, all living as of the 1900 census.¹ Occupation: Bank Vice President in 1900 at Lanark, Carroll Co., IL.¹ John Scott Snively died on 19 April 1926 at Carroll Co., IL, at age 74.

     Maria Snively was born on 27 September 1840. She was the daughter of Jacob Hege Snively and Catherine Stouffer. Maria Snively died on 2 March 1844 at age 3.

     Mariah Snively was born in February 1849 at Antrim Twp., Franklin Co., PA.^1,2 She was the daughter of Jacob Hege Snively and Catherine Stouffer.¹

     Martha B. Snively was born on 28 June 1843. She was the daughter of Jacob Hege Snively and Catherine Stouffer.

     Mary Snively was born on 20 March 1807. She married Joseph Strickler, son of Henry Strickler and Anna Rhodes, on 15 January 1829 at Franklin Co., PA. Mary Snively died on 30 October 1881 at Franklin Co. (probably), PA, at age 74.

     Nancy Snively was born on 15 March 1784 at Antrim Twp., Franklin Co., PA. She was the daughter of Andrew Snively and Susannah Funk. Nancy Snively married David Stoner, son of David Stoner and Margaret (?), on 12 May 1807 at East Conococheague, Franklin Co., PA. Nancy Snively died on 16 April 1845 at Franklin Co., PA, at age 61. She was buried in April 1845 at Antrim Twp., Franklin Co., PA.

     Ralph B. Snively was born circa 1887 at Lanark, Carroll Co., IL.¹ He was the son of John Scott Snively and Mary Jane Kingery.¹

     Susan Snively married Jeremiah Gordon.

     Viola B. Snively was born circa 1889 at Lanark, Carroll Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of John Scott Snively and Mary Jane Kingery.¹

     Carrie Snoddy was born on 14 December 1898 at Ohio. She married Arnold Wilkin, son of Augustus Elmore Wilkin and Mary Elizabeth Fawley, on 30 December 1927. Carrie Snoddy died in November 1983 at Wilmington, Clinton Co., OH, at age 84.

     Ernest Snoddy was born on 27 September 1914 at Kentucky.¹ He was the son of Thomas Snoddy and Friedricka Louise Wheeler.² Ernest Snoddy married Beulah Wilkin, daughter of Leonard Leroy Wilkin and Blanche Layman. Ernest Snoddy died on 6 November 1993 at age 79. He was buried in November 1993 at Barnes Cemetery, Fairview, Highland Co., OH, Find A Grave Memorial# 93645769.

     Marida Sue Snoddy was born on 1 September 1958. She was the daughter of Ernest Snoddy and Beulah Wilkin. Marida Sue Snoddy died on 19 December 1970 at age 12. She was buried in December 1970 at Barnes Cemetery, Fairview, Highland Co., OH.

     Sarah Ann Snoddy was born on 20 October 1820 at Dauphin Co., PA.¹ She married Gawin Henry Boone, son of Mordecai Boone and Eleanor Evans, in 1841. Sarah Ann Snoddy died on 10 July 1892 at age 71.

     Thomas Snoddy was born on 1 October 1873 at Greenup Co., KY.¹ He married Friedricka Louise Wheeler on 16 February 1898 at Greenup Co., KY. Thomas Snoddy died on 3 February 1951 at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH, at age 77.

     Ada F. Snodgrass was born in 1852 at Union Co., OH. She was the daughter of Robert Snodgrass and Eleanor Ellen Robinson. Ada F. Snodgrass married Ezra Wirt Forney, son of Abner Wirt Forney and Louisa Ann Wortz, on 28 September 1872 at York Co., PA. Ada F. Snodgrass died in 1895 at York Co., PA. She was buried in 1895 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, York Co., PA.

     Amanda Jane Snodgrass was born on 11 October 1853 at Polk Co., IA.¹ She married Samuel Holloway, son of George Holloway and Sophia Vee Truitt, on 18 January 1872 at Polk Co., IA. MRS. HOLLOWAY CALLED BY DEATH
Mrs. Amanda Holloway passed away at her home Thursday morning after a lingering illness at the age of seventy-seven years. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon. Interment was made at West Linn.


OBITUARY

Amanda J. Snodgrass, daughter of William and Katherine Snodgrass was born October 11, 1853 near Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, and passed away at her home in Linden March 19th, 1931. She was married to Samuel Holloway December 18, 1871. To this union was born seven children, Charlotte C. Howell, Scotts Bluff, Nebr; Charles T. Holloway, Medford, Oregon; William L. Holloway, Coon Rapids, Iowa; Nettie Hesse, Stratford, Iowa; Bessie Borst, Adel, Iowa, Margaret and Gary preceded her in death. Besides the children to mourn their loss are eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Amanda J. Snodgrass, daughter of William and Katherine Snodgrass was born October 11, 1853, near Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, and passed away March 19th, 1931 at her home in Linden.

She was married to Samuel Holloway October 18, 1871. To this union was born seven children, Charlotte C. Howell, Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, Charles T. Holloway, Nedford, Oregon, William L. Holloway, Coon Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Nettie Hesse, Stratford, Iowa, Mrs. Bessie Borst, Adel, Iowa and Margaret and Gary preceding her in death. Besides the children she leaves to mourn her loss eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church, Rev. Felt officiating. Interment in the West Lynn cemetery where the bodies of her husband, son and daughter lie.

     Caleb Anderson Snodgrass was born on 26 April 1844 at Craig Co., VA.¹ He married Matilda Josephine Looney on 23 January 1868 at Roane Co., WV. Caleb Anderson Snodgrass died on 22 June 1934 at Delta, York Co., PA, at age 90.

     Dr. Franklin Pierce Snodgrass was born on 16 June 1880 at Roane Co., WV.¹ He was the son of Caleb Anderson Snodgrass and Matilda Josephine Looney.¹ Dr. Franklin Pierce Snodgrass married Orvia Tallman, daughter of Peter A. Tallman and Martha Josephine Ferrell, on 23 September 1903 at Roane Co., WV. Dr. Franklin Pierce Snodgrass died on 21 December 1962 at Baltimore, MD, at age 82.

     Maria Woodrow Snodgrass married Fleming David Crumley.

     Robert Snodgrass married Eleanor Ellen Robinson.
