DEATH OF JEFFERSON STEPRO
"Uncle" Jefferson Stepro, died in Heath Township last Monday in his 99th year. He was born in Lebanon, Ky., in 1800 and removed to Indiana in 1806 and resided in Heth and Boone Townships, this county, ever since. He was born on Christmas day and had he lived until next Christmas could have reached the century mark. His hearing, eyesight and memory were good, and a few months before his death was able to do chores about the premises. He was a remarkably well preserved man and he attributed his longevity to abstemious habits. The funeral took place yesterday and the remains were interred at Bethel church burying ground.

He was buried in May 1900 at Central Cemetery, Central, Harrison Co., IN, Findagrave #162107827.

Daniel B. Sterling, 84, was born July 3, 1930, in Des Moines, the son of Bradford Sterling and Hazel Sterling. He passed away at Mercy Medical Center on August 16, 2014.
Daniel retired as a revenue agent for the Iowa Department of Revenue. In addition, he spent over 20 years as an enumerator for the USDA. Daniel enjoyed hunting, walking, golf and his dogs. He was a member of the NRA, American Legion and Oakwood United Methodist Church.
Daniel had a sense of humor and liked socializing with his friends and having fun. Above all, he loved his family and would do anything for them.
Daniel is survived by his sister, Jean Faupel; daughter, Donna “Didi” Loynachan (Matthew); son, Bradford “Brad” Sterling; former wife and friend, Jean Kitzmiller; granddaughters, Jennifer “Jenni” Liston and Shannan Belden; six great-grandchildren, Anakin Liston, Bethany, Christian, Caitlin, Caleb and Wyatt Belden; and many, many friends.
Daniel lived 84 years, 1 month and 13 days.

He was buried in August 2014 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines, Polk Co., IA, Findagrave #134533776.

Irene E. Munsinger, 70, died Friday at Belaire Manor, Casper, following a long illness. Irene was the daughter of Loran and Emma Sterling. The family moved to Glenrock in 1919 and in 1922 she was married to Theodore R. Munsinger at Casper.

Survivors include two sons, Robert of Glenrock and John of Casper; a daughter, Delores Burch of Bountiful, Utah; one sister, Lorraine Christie, of Casper; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
