Lashawa, on 26 April 1920 at St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., MO. John B. Bingham died on 13 March 1935 at St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., MO, at age 55.

Joseph Alexander Bingham

     Joseph Alexander Bingham was born on 22 September 1855 at Fallston, Cleveland Co., NC. He married Mary Arabelle Banta, daughter of Smith Banta and Mary Jane London, on 2 August 1877 at Marion Co., IA. Joseph Alexander Bingham died on 12 June 1920 at Ord, Valley Co., NE, at age 64 Obituary:

Joseph A. Bingham, the son of Jacob and Jane Bingham, was born September 22, 1855, came to Iowa with his parents when a boy of 11 years. Here he grew to manhood, married and raised his family, and twelve years ago they moved to Nebraska, which has since been his home.

He was married to Mary Arabelle Banta, August 2, 1877 at Knoxville, Iowa. To this union were born five children: Minnie Jane, now Mrs. Robert N. Kimbrel, Columbia, Iowa; Chas. N. of Bumwell, Neb; Franklin Guy, Columbia, Iowa; John Earl of North Loup, Neb; and Veda, now Mrs. Ward Gowen of North Loup, two of whom preceded their father in death. Joseph A. Bingham died June 12, 1920.

He leaves to mourn his death, a wife, two sons, and one daughter and five grandchildren, two sisters, and one brother, besides a host of relatives and friends. He was a kind and good neighbor, and will be missed by all who knew him. He was converted in young manhood and joined the Methodist Church at Union Chapel in Iowa, later moved his membership to Gosport, Iowa, of which church he remained a member until death.

While stacking hay on him farm, June 5th, he was knocked off the stack and hurt. He was taken to the Ord Hospital, where the best medical aid was secured, but all in vain. One week later, after terrible suffering, he fell asleep, "never to awaken".

The funeral was held at the Scotia Methodist Church June 14th, conducted by Rev. Bauda of North Loup. Burial was in the Scotia Cemetery.

Kathleen Farr Bingham married Dr. Walter David DeVault Jr., son of Walter David DeVault and Eleanor Kitzmiller Osborne, on 16 June 1955. Occupation: Twice president of the Auxiliary to the Wicomico Medical Society; board member of the Eastern Shore Symphony Society & coordinator of the Society's Youth Symphony; member of the Wicomico Garden Club & of the Planned Parenthood Association of Salisbury.

Kathleen Farr Bingham died on 29 March 1977 at Baltimore, MD, at age 45.

Lois Maxine Bingham married Chester Eugene Manos, son of Floyd Manos and Faye (?), on 13 February 1957 at Las Vegas, Clark Co., NV, one son born to the marriage. Lois Maxine Bingham lived in 1971 at 6563 Crowley Avenue M, Ojai, Ventura Co., CA, Ojai City Directory, 1971. She died on 1 June 2012 at age 95. She was buried in June 2012 at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura, Ventura Co., CA, Find A Grave Memorial# 136770973.

     Rex Eugene Bingham was born on 5 February 1915 at North Loup, Valley Co., NE. He was the son of Earl Leon Bingham and Vinna May Wendel. Rex Eugene Bingham died on 12 February 1997 at Denver, Denver Co., CO, at age 82 Obituary -- The Rocky Mountain News, Denver, CO, February 15, 1997:

Rex E. Bingham, 82, of Commerce City died Feb. 12 in Denver. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Gospel Ministries, 7420 Newport St., with burial at Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Bingham was born in North Loup, Neb., on Feb. 2, 1915.

He married Lily L. Williams, 1962.

He worked for Purina for 40 years and was a member of Gospel Ministries.

Survivors include his wife; daughters Binnie Short, Anita Hesselgrave and Vivian Boshaw, all of California, Rebecca Harrison of Longmont; sons Ken Fender and Jim Fender, both of Colorado Springs; sister Lois Manos of California; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

He was buried in February 1997 at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery, Thornton, Adams Co., CO.

She died on 19 January 1929 at Harrison Co., IN, at age 78.

Lt. William F. Bippus
Military funeral services and burial for Lt. William F. Bippus, former Daytonian, and three other airman, all of whom lost their lives in 1945 (sic) in Jorhat, India, on a flight "over the hump" to China, were conducted Tuesday at National Military cemetery at Ft. Scott, Kan.

Lt. Bippus was the son of the late William F. Bippus and Mrs. Bippus, the latter now living in Los Angeles. His father was at one time treasurer of the National Cash Register Co. and at the time of his death, in 1932, was president of Joyce-Cridland Co.

Besides his mother, Lt. Bippus is survived by his former wife, now Mrs. Phyllis Anne Krumholz, Jr., and two children, William Franklin Bippus III, and Phyllis Anne Bippus, all of Dayton.

Cause of death: : He was a pilot with the Air Transport Command and was killed in action in WW II flying a mission over the Himalayas (the "Hump") to China in the China-Burma-Inida Theatre.

"State of Indiana, Vigo County

On this 15th day of July 1845 personally appeared before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the county aforesaid Solomon Harbert a resident of said county, who being first duly sworn according to law, doth on his oath make the following Declarations in order to obtain the benefit of the provisions made by the Act of Congress passed on the 3rd day of March 1843 granting pensions to widows of persons who served during the Revolutionary War. That he is the administrator of the estate of Rachel Soesbe who was the widow of Daniel Soesbe who was a private in the army of the Revolution, and served in the manner specified in his original Declaration now on file at the proper office at Washington City.

That the said Rachel Soesbe was a pensioner under the act of 7th July 1838 at the rate of Eighty dollars per annum.

The said Solomon Harbert administrator as aforesaid doth further declare that the said Rachel Soesbe widow as aforesaid died on the eighth day of February 1844, that she never intermarried after the death of the said Daniel Soesbe her said husband.
