Mrs. Elizabeth Stover Price, wife of Abram E. Price, vice president of the Bank of Waynesboro, died at her home, 137 West Main street, at 6 o'clock Saturday evening, aged 75 years, 10 months and 23 days.
Mrs. Price had been ill for about thirteen months with a complication of troubles.
She was a daughter of John and Mary (Deardorff) Stover and was born February 4, 1841, on a farm between Five Forks and Shady Grove. She lived there until her marriage to Abram E. Price, January 30, 1862, fifty-five years ago lacking one month.
After their marriage they lived on the Price, now the Bonebrake farm near Nunnery, for eight years, then moved to 111 West Main street the house now owned by J. H. De_____, where they made their home two years. In 1872 they moved to 137 West Main street, where they have since resided.
Mrs. Price was a member of the Church of the Brethren and a woman of marked kindliness of manner, and of charitable disposition. She was devoted to her family and, in return, the members of her family showered a deep affection on her.
Mrs. Price is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Daniel Stoner, Harvey S. Price, Mrs. Samuel Roop, Benjamin W. Price, Mrs. H. C. Gordon, J. Stover Price. She is survived, also, by one sister, Miss Mary Stover, South Broad street.
Funeral services at her late home, Tuesday, 2:30 p. m. Interment in Green Hill Cemetery.

Emanuel Stover married Susannah Price, daughter of John Preisz and Mary Ann Steiner.1 Occupation: Emanuel Stover carried on a tannery in connection with his farm, near Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, and also engaged in distilling which had been carried on by his father, but later this business was discontinued when it was decided by the annual conference of the Brethren Church that no member should be allowed to manufacture, handle or sell intoxicating liquors of any kind. Both Mr. and Mrs. Stover were consistent members of that church.2
