     Elizabeth Strickler was born on 12 July 1793 at Shenandoah Co., VA. She was the daughter of Isaac Strickler and Susannah Brubaker. Elizabeth Strickler married John Rhodes Burner, son of Joseph Burner and Mary Ann Rhodes, on 16 September 1810 at Hagerstown, Washington Co., MD. Elizabeth Strickler died on 23 October 1838 at Page Co., VA, at age 45.

     Elizabeth Strickler was born on 1 February 1785 at York Co., PA. She was the daughter of Henry Strickler and Anna Rhodes. Elizabeth Strickler married Joseph Negley circa 1814 at Pennsylvania. Elizabeth Strickler died on 22 September 1850 at Near Welsh Run, Franklin Co., PA, at age 65.

Whitemore, daughter of Jacob Whitemore and Amanda (?), on 28 September 1898.¹ Rev. Ellis Stouffer Strickler lived in 1926 at El Centro, San Diego Co., CA.¹

     Ermina Ellen Strickler was born on 1 July 1854 at Freedom Twp., Carroll Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Price Strickler and Anna Maria Miller. Ermina Ellen Strickler died on 20 January 1863 at age 8

Ermina Ellen Strickler was born on July 1, 1854 on the family farm in Freedom Township, Carroll County, Illinois.

Ermina's father was Henry Price Strickler, who was born on January 29, 1827 in Antrim Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.

Ermina's grandfather, also named Henry Strickler, had been called to the ministry in the Brethren historic Price meetinghouse near Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, on October 23, 1825. His 16 years of active service in the ministry had prepared him well for effective leadership when the Strickler family emigrated to Illinois in about 1841. Henry the elder was the first Brethren minister in the district: church history holds that his arrival in Illinois begat new life, and injected a more active church atmosphere throughout the settlement.

Ermina's mother was Anna Maria Miller, who was born on February 9, 1829 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Maria's father was a Swedish immigrant named Jacob Miller. Maria's mother was a native of Pennsylvania. The Millers had emigrated to Carroll County before 1850, settling in Woodland Township.

Henry and Maria were married on Christmas Eve of 1850. The ceremony was held in the Arnold's Grove Brethren Church where Henry the elder preached, and in which the couple was very active.

Ermina was the couple's second child, born after Benjamin. The Stricklers had at least eight more children after Ermina.

Tragedy struck when Ermina's little sister, Mary Ann, died a month after her first birthday in 1861. Her parents buried her at Arnold's Grove Cemetery near so many other family members and Brethren churchgoers.

Tragedy struck the family again when Ermina died at the age of eight years on January 30, 1863. Her parents buried Ermina at Arnold's Grove Cemetery, although some distance from Mary Ann's grave.

She was buried in January 1863 at Arnolds Grove Dunkard Cemetery, Freedom Twp., Carroll Co., IL, Findagrave #191607616.

     Etta Maria Strickler was born on 17 April 1870. She was the daughter of Henry Price Strickler and Anna Maria Miller. Etta Maria Strickler married Elder Jesse Edwin Jones, son of Thomas J. Jones and Mary Ann Hart, on 12 September 1894.

     Evelyn Mae Strickler was born on 14 April 1917 at El Centro, Imperial Co., CA.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. Ellis Stouffer Strickler and Anna B. Whitemore.

     Frances Strickler was also known as "Fannie". She was born on 5 April 1876. She was the daughter of Bishop Henry B. Strickler and Fianna E. Hershey. Frances Strickler married Charles Henry Quereau, son of George W. Quereau and Susan Higgins Smith, on 31 December 1901. Frances Strickler died on 7 November 1914 at age 38.

     Frances B. Strickler married Ephraim Salvage. Frances B. Strickler married Abraham Miller. Frances B. Strickler was born in 1795. She was the daughter of John Strickler and Barbara Brumback.

     Frank Ellis Strickler was born on 5 January 1896 at Ransom, Ness Co., KS.¹ He was the son of Harry S. Strickler and Carrie May Chapman. Frank Ellis Strickler married Virginia Allen, daughter of William A. Allen and Etta Estella Messett, on 2 July 1922.¹

     Occupation: Merchant. Frank Stouffer Strickler was Methodist Episcopal. He was born on 9 May 1882 at Winchester, Frederick Co., VA.¹ He was the son of Joseph Price Strickler and Mary Keefer Stouffer. Frank Stouffer Strickler married Maude Holliday Stouffer, daughter of Daniel Keefer Stouffer and Mary W. Ferguson, on 9 May 1911.¹ Frank Stouffer Strickler lived in 1926 at Lewiston, Jefferson Co., MT.¹

     Franklin Strickler was born circa 1842.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Strickler and Elizabeth Strock.¹

     Frederick Stouffer Strickler was born on 18 March 1890. He was the son of Amos S. Strickler and Ella Aleda Etter. Frederick Stouffer Strickler married Mary Erma McKenzie on 24 February 1914.

     George A. Strickler was born on 16 February 1935 at Sullivan Co., TN.¹ He was the son of Orgie Lee Strickler and Sarah Lucinda Kitzmiller.¹ George A. Strickler died on 9 November 2011 at age 76.      Hannah Strickler was born on 9 July 1831 at Antrim Twp., Franklin Co., PA. She was the daughter of Rev. Henry Strickler and Mary Price. Hannah Strickler married Elder David B. Puterbaugh, son of John P. Puterbaugh and Nancy Zuck, circa 1852. Hannah Strickler died on 19 July 1853 at age 22.

     Hannah Strickler was born on 2 May 1834 at Pennsylvania.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Strickler and Susan Hollinger. Hannah Strickler married Rev.
