Surviving are five children, Glenda Griffith, William Arvin Clyde Bedilion, Patrick Andrew Bedilion and Alva Kenneth Bedilion, all of Graysville, and Eric S. Bedilion of Sycamore; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Nellie Durbin of Rogersville, Shirley Justice of Stow, Ohio, and Carolyn Davenport of Waynesburg.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a granddaughter, Daianara Dawn Bedilion; five brothers, Jack, Kenneth, Carl, Fred and Johnny Tharp; and a sister, Pauline Strope.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, with Pastor Lanny Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Wind Ridge.

Mrs. Strope was a member of Waynesburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4793 auxiliary, Waynesburg Senior Citizens and the Senior Bowling League, where she was an active participant with the Lollypop bowling team.
She also enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Strope was a graduate of Center Township High School.
She was last employed by Berkowitz Sewing Factory and Flushing Shirt Factory for 30 years prior to her retirement.

Samuel M. Tharp was born on 3 January 1840. He married Nancy E. Wendell, daughter of Cyrus W. Wendell and Margaret Spears. Samuel M. Tharp died on 30 June 1927 at Richhill Twp., Greene Co., PA, at age 87 Obituary (Findagrave.com):
Samuel Tharp, an aged citizen of Richhill township, died at his home near Wind Ridge, Wednesday night, June 29, aged 87 years. His death was due to a stroke of paralysis. He was a well known farmer. Besides his wife he leaves the following children: D. M. Tharp of Wind Ridge, R. D. 2; Levi Tharp, of Sugar Grove; Perry Tharp, of Ohio; Mrs. Laura Greer, of Sugar Grove; Mrs. A. J. Polen, of Ryerson Station, and Mrs. Samuel McVey, of Cameron, W. Va. The funeral was held Saturday, at 10 a.m. Interment in family cemetery.
