Bledsoe began military service WW II, U.S. Army, Corporal. He died on 1 August 1977 at age 54. He was buried in August 1977 at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City, Washington Co., TN.

     Theophilus Hunter Bledsoe was born on 13 November 1898 at North Carolina. He was the son of Laurens Bledsoe and Susan Libes. Theophilus Hunter Bledsoe married Camille L. LeFevre, daughter of Joseph Henry LeFevre and Julia C. Gutelius, on 16 April 1919. Theophilus Hunter Bledsoe died on 29 July 1977 at Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co., NC, at age 78. Thomas "Tom" Bledsoe, 66, of Dothan passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 in Rochester, MN.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, of Dothan. Following the services there will be a celebration of Tom's life held at the Dothan Country Club. A private graveside service will be at Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, "Building Fund" 1380 West Main Street, Dothan, Alabama or The Shriners Hospital, 2001 South Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131.

Mr. Bledsoe was born April 21, 1945 and was raised in New Florence, Missouri. He resided in Eufaula, Alabama prior to moving to Dothan in 1977. Mr. Bledsoe was in the mining business in Barbour and Henry Counties. He founded Kenworth of Dothan in 1977. He owned and operated the Kenworth and Freightliner dealerships until his retirement in 2000. Upon his retirement, he has remained active in mining, transportation, and appraisal services. Mr. Bledsoe was an active member of First United Methodist Church. He was a 32rd Degree Mason, a Shriner and a Jester.

Survivors include, his wife, Gelane Bledsoe, Dothan; three daughters, Kama (Mike Owen) Bledsoe, Dothan, Amanda (Rad) Register, Dothan, and Tammy (Jason) Angeloff, Dothan; his grandchildren, Isabelle Owen, Will Owen, Allie Kate Register, Ford Register, J. Thomas and Tanner Angeloff; his brother, Jim (Doris) Bledsoe, Eufaula; nieces and nephews, Jane Ann Bonbrake, Macon, GA, Billy Bledsoe, Eufaula, Jammie Fabick, St. Louis MO; seventeen great nieces and nephews.

     Willard Meyer Bledsoe was born on 18 April 1913 at Koenig, Osage Co., MO; or at Belle, per his newspaper obituary, son of A.O. and Mintie (Oliver) Bledsoe. He married Helen Powell on 17 December 1941. Willard Meyer Bledsoe died on 29 July 1977 at Eufaula, Barbour Co., AL, at age 64. He was buried in 1977 at New Florence Cemetery, New Florence, Montgomery Co., MO, Findagrave #122016843.

     Ida Bleiler was the daughter of J. G. Bleiler and (?) Windemute. Ida Bleiler married Edward Boa.

     Henrietta Louise Blemker was born in July 1861 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Henry E. Blemker and Mary E. (?)² Henrietta Louise Blemker married Rev. Henry Clayton Clippinger, son of Rev. John Henry Clippinger and Mary Rebecca Armstrong, circa 1885, three children born to the marriage, all living as of the 1910 census.^1,3 Henrietta Louise Blemker died before January 1920.

     Henry E. Blemker was born in May 1833 at Prussia (now Germany).¹ He married Mary E. (?).¹ Henry E. Blemker died after 8 June 1900.
