     Letitia Shelby Todd was born on 10 December 1832. She was the daughter of Col. Charles Stewart Todd and Letitia Shelby. Letitia Shelby Todd died on 22 June 1892 at age 59.

     Levi Todd was born on 5 October 1756 at Pennsylvania. He married Jane Briggs on 25 February 1779 at Lincoln Co., KY. Levi Todd died in September 1807 at Lexington, Fayette Co., KY, at age 50.

Mary Ann Todd married President Abraham Lincoln, son of Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks, on 4 November 1842 at Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL. Mary Ann Todd died on 16 July 1882 at Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL, at age 63.

     Mary Caroline Todd was born on 8 July 1853 at New York City, NY. She married John Fowler Maxfield Sr. on 8 September 1875. Mary Caroline Todd died on 17 April 1936 at Bloomfield, Essex Co., NJ, at age 82.

     Robert Smith Todd was born on 25 February 1791 at Lexington, Fayette Co., KY. He was the son of Levi Todd and Jane Briggs. Robert Smith Todd married Eliza Parker circa 1812. Robert Smith Todd died on 16 July 1849 at Lexington, Fayette Co., KY, at age 58 Cholera epidemic.

     Roderick Melville Todd was born on 20 August 1900 at St. Paul, Ramsey Co., MN; WW II draft registration, son of David and Lois ? Todd. He married Annabell Caroline Cain, daughter of William A. Cain and Isadora E. Snapp, on 23 May 1929 at Jackson Co., MO. Roderick Melville Todd and Annabell Caroline Cain were divorced. Roderick Melville Todd died on 24 April 1975 at Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 74.

     Sarah Shelby Todd was born on 13 January 1825. She was the daughter of Col. Charles Stewart Todd and Letitia Shelby. Sarah Shelby Todd married Finley W. Wall on 13 January 1848. Sarah Shelby Todd married E. A. Hathaway on 16 June 1854. Sarah Shelby Todd died on 1 September 1901 at age 76.

     Susanna Hart Todd was born on 16 July 1822. She was the daughter of Col. Charles Stewart Todd and Letitia Shelby. Susanna Hart Todd died on 13 January 1825 at age 2.

     Thomas Todd was born on 1 December 1820. He was the son of Col. Charles Stewart Todd and Letitia Shelby. Thomas Todd married Jane Smith on 14 January 1841. Thomas Todd married Betty Bowney on 10 May 1860. Thomas Todd died on 29 April 1909 at age 88.

     Judge Thomas Todd was born on 23 January 1765 at King and Queen Co., VA. He was the son of Richard Todd and Elizabeth Richards. Judge Thomas Todd began military service in 1781 At the age of sixteen, served in the Manchester troop of Cavalry when Phillips and Arnold invaded Virginia. The enemy destroyed property at Manchester, opposite Richmond, and that city was saved only by the timely arrival of Lafayette who had made a forced march of two hundred miles to protect the military stores at the capitol. He lived in 1784 at Danville, Boyle Co., KY, relocated from Virginia, served as clerk at Kentucky statehood conventions.

He married Elizabeth Harris, daughter of John Harris and Hannah Stewart, on 22 June 1788 at Franklin Co., KY.

Judge Thomas Todd married Lucy Payne, daughter of John Payne and Mary Coles, on 29 March 1812 at The White House, Washington, D.C., Lucy Payne was first married to a Washington, nephew of George Washington, and was widowed at the time of her marriage to Judge Todd. She was the sister of Dolly Madison.

Judge Thomas Todd died on 7 February 1826 at Frankfort, Franklin Co., KY, at age 61

He lost both of his parents at an early age and was raised by a guardian. At the age of sixteen, Todd served in the Revolutionary War for six months and then returned home to attend Liberty Hall (now Washington and Lee University). Upon graduation in 1783, Todd became a tutor at Liberty Hall in exchange for room and board and instruction in the law. In 1784, Todd moved to Danville, Kentucky, which was then still part of Virginia. Kentucky was seeking statehood, and Todd served as the clerk at five conventions held for that purpose. He was admitted to the bar in 1788 and entered the practice of law. Todd served as secretary to the State Legislature when Kentucky was admitted to the Union in 1792, and when the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the State’s highest court, was created in 1789, he became its chief clerk. In 1801, Todd was appointed a Justice of the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and in 1806 he was elevated to Chief Justice. On February 28, 1807, President Thomas Jefferson nominated Todd to the Supreme Court of the United States. The Senate confirmed the appointment on March 3, 1807. Judge Todd served on the Supreme Court for eighteen years.

     Timothy Todd was born. He was the son of Franklin Todd and Harriet E. Hanna. Timothy Todd died before 1992 Died in autombile accident.

     Virginia Shelby Todd married Daniel Mosely Griffith, son of William Griffith and Aria Mosely. Virginia Shelby Todd was born on 16 November 1836. She was the daughter of Col. Charles Stewart Todd and Letitia Shelby. Virginia Shelby Todd died on 9 August 1883 at age 46.

     Walter Todd was born on 1 August 1877 at Indiana. He married Ida Lucinda Watson on 24 December 1902 at Allegheny Co., PA.

     William Johntson Todd was born circa 1813 at Kentucky. He was the son of Judge Thomas Todd and Lucy Payne.

     William Orville Todd was born on 10 September 1915 at Washington Co., PA. He was the son of Walter Todd and Ida Lucinda Watson. William Orville Todd began military service on 18 December 1942 WW II service, U.S. Army, TSgt. He married Elsie E. Hallam, daughter of Cleon Scott Hallam and Mabel L. Armstrong, on 29 November 1952 at Frederick Co., VA, Ceremony by Rev. E. T. Clark. William Orville Todd died on 6 December 1977 at Bensenville, DuPage Co., IL, at age 62. He was buried in December 1977 at Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, DuPage Co., IL, Findagrave #138536051.

     Johann Heinrich Tofall was also known as "John".¹ He was born in May 1855 at Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany (now).¹ He married Theresia Elizabeth Gelhaus circa 1886.¹ Johann Heinrich Tofall died after 13 June 1900.

     Mary G. Tofall was born on 10 March 1896 at Burlington, Des Moines Co., IA. She was the daughter of Johann Heinrich Tofall and Theresia Elizabeth Gelhaus. Mary G. Tofall married Harry Alonzo McCoy, son of Silas Bennett McCoy and Martha Ellen Davalt, on 9 July 1917 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., UT. Mary G. Tofall died on 17 October 1935 at Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ, at age 39. Cause of death: Severe burns from explosion of a kerosene stove in the home. She was buried in October 1935 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ, Findagrave #177092009.

     Ellen Toftley was born circa 1888 at Minnesota.¹ She married John D. Davidson.¹

     Arthur M. Toland was born on 26 August 1922 at McDonough Co., IL. He began military service WW II service, U.S. Army Air Corps. He died on 20 April 2009 at Mesa, Maricopa Co., AZ, at age 86

Arthur was born to Roy Ellsworth Toland and Clara B. Merrill Toland. He married Luan Anderson on October 28, 1951 in Macomb. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Steven Lee Toland; six grandchildren; one sister, Norma Jean Kimler and one brother, Roy Max Toland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Melissa Sue Toland and one sister, Ruth Elaine Nickison.

Arthur lived in McDonough County before moving to Arizona in 1969. He operated a Root Beer business in Macomb and then he sold Insurance and Investments.

He was buried in April 2009 at Oakwood Cemetery, Macomb, McDonough Co., IL, Findagrave #36574705.
