Elsie M. Horlacher, 94, of Casa Grande died on March 1, 2013, in Casa Grande.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral will begin at 10, with the Rev. Trevor McShane officiating. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.

Mrs. Horlacher was born on Dec. 19, 1918, in Kincaid, Ill., and was a daughter of Carroll and Grace Vancil. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making meals for her family in her earlier years. She also enjoyed vacationing, driving, outings, going out to eat and going to casinos. She enjoyed listening to her boys and grandsons play music and listening to and singing gospel music. She liked joking andplaying bingo at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Survivors include three sons, Steve Horlacher of Coolidge, Sam Horlacher of Cave Creek and Tim Horlacher of Clinton, Ark; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Sam Sr. in 1999 and a son, Gary Law.

She was buried in March 2013 at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Coolidge, Pinal Co., AZ, Findagrave #52663031.

BLOOMINGTON -- Sadie M. Karr, a longtime resident of Bloomington-Normal, died Friday (July 25, 2008) at the age of 91 in Palm City, Fla.

She was cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held in Bloomington at a later date.

She was born in Arkansas on July 15, 1917, the daughter of Fred and Clara Windle VanCleve. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don E. Karr, also a longtime resident of Bloomington.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Albert Jurenas) Karr, Jensen Beach, Fla; her grandson, Lt. Col. Stephen (Mary Finnegan) Sobotta, Boiling Springs, Pa; and four great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, Katherine and Margaret.

She was buried in July 2008 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum, Bloomington, McLean Co., IL, Findagrave #62473956.
