     Margaret A. Way was born circa 1848 at Jackson Twp., Morgan (now Noble) Co. (probably), OH.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Way and Ann Delancey.¹

     Mary Way was born on 4 May 1803 at Centre Co., PA. She married Allen Moore, son of Elijah Moore and Sarah Allen, in 1820 at Centre Co., PA. Mary Way died on 4 September 1838 at Centre Co., PA, at age 35.

     Virgil M. Waybright was born on 19 November 1918 at Welch, Craig Co., OK. He was the son of Charles Waybright and Lue Triplett. Virgil M. Waybright married Mary Belle McClintic, daughter of William Harold McClintic and Viola Judy Mathis. Virgil M. Waybright began military service on 28 April 1944 WW II, U.S. Army, enlisted Ft. Sill, OK. He died on 10 December 2008 at Quapaw, Ottawa Co., OK, at age 90.

     Virinda Wayland was born on 22 November 1807 at Madison Co., VA. She married Arason Wintermute, son of George Wintermute and Anne Lanterman, on 2 October 1828 at Muskingum Co., OH. Virinda Wayland died on 2 September 1883 at Licking Co., OH, at age 75.

     Margaret Mary Wayman was born on 16 October 1923 at Akron, Summit Co., OH. She was the daughter of Richard Wayman and Rose While. Margaret Mary Wayman married James Irving Holland, son of John Edward Holland and Lenore Windle, on 13 August 1955 at Akron, Summit Co., OH. Margaret Mary Wayman died on 22 December 1990 at Canal Fulton, Stark Co., OH, at age 67. She was buried in December 1991 at Centerville, Montgomery Co., OH.

     Elizabeth L. Weakley was born in June 1845 at Hendricks Co. (probably), IN.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of James Weakley and Elizabeth Nichols.² Elizabeth L. Weakley married Green Upshur Larimore, son of Samuel Larimore and Julia P. Taylor, after 24 August 1860. Elizabeth L. Weakley lived in January 1871 at St. Joseph Ward 5, Buchanan Co., MO, Living with her mother.² She lived on 14 June 1900 at St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., MO, with her daughter Sarah's family.³ She died after 10 January 1920 at St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., MO, Elizabeth was living with her daughter Sarah and granddaughter Myrtle King's family as of the 1920 census.⁴

     James Weakley was born circa 1804 at Virginia.¹ He married Elizabeth Nichols on 1 November 1838 at Hendricks Co., IN. James Weakley lived on 4 September 1850 at Middle Twp., Hendricks Co., IN, blacksmith.¹ He died after 4 September 1850.

     Nancy C. Weakley was born circa 1834 at Virginia or possibly 1833, as per 1860 census age.^1,2 She married James H. Anderson, son of Jacob A. Anderson and Mary Sonner.

     David A. Wear was born on 14 June 1866 at Cooper Co., MO. He married Elizabeth F. Baker. David A. Wear died on 30 August 1951 at Pettis Co., MO, at age 85.

     David Franklin Wear was born on 31 January 1907 at Green Ridge, Pettis Co., MO. He was the son of David A. Wear and Elizabeth F. Baker. David Franklin Wear married Olevia May Snapp, daughter of Jacob Alexander Snapp and Alma Mae Marsh, on 4 December 1933 at Windsor, Henry Co., MO. David Franklin Wear died on 5 February 1989 at Shawnee Mission, Johnson Co., MO, at age 82.

     Gerald Ray Wear was born on 4 July 1896 at Maryville, Clay Co., MO, Gerald gave wrong (later) birth dates for both his WW I and WW II draft registrations -- apparently trying to improve his chances of military service.^2,1 He was the son of Peter R. Wear and Alice Leaman.² Gerald Ray Wear married Madeline L. Whitaker, daughter of George Robinson Whitaker and Monta Skaggs, on 30 December 1926 at Los Angeles Co., CA. Gerald Ray Wear lived on 3 April 1930 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., CA, shoe maker.¹ He and Madeline L. Whitaker were divorced before April 1940; Madeline was listed as divorced on the 1940 census, Los Angeles. Gerald Ray Wear lived on 21 May 1940 at Sandy Precinct, Clackamas Co., OR, renting, single, redecorating/remodeling a tavern.³ He died on 30 May 1972 at Multnomah Co., OR, at age 75.

     James R. Wear married Martha W. (?).¹ James R. Wear was born circa 1824 at New York.¹

     Note: Appears to have married Maretta Knight, b. abt 1898, daughter of Mary C. Knight of Boston. Maretta appears in the 1920 census in the Knight household as Maretta Wear, married, but no sign of the husband. In 1930 she is found living at Long Beach, CA., with children Frank (10) and Barbara (4), with her mother in the household, but not the father. DLB 2007. Millard Price Wear was born in 1898.¹ He was the son of Theodore G. Wear and Marie Price.¹

     Peter R. Wear was born in September 1861 at Texas.¹ He married Alice Leaman circa 1893.¹ Peter R. Wear lived on 15 June 1900 at Gallatin Twp., Clay Co., MO, laborer.¹ He died on 23 November 1923 at Orange Co., CA, at age 62.

     Ray Edward Wear was born on 21 April 1937 at Sedalia, Pettis Co., MO. He was the son of David Franklin Wear and Olevia May Snapp. Ray Edward Wear died on 22 March 2013 at Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO, at age 75.

     Ruth S. Wear was born on 29 February 1852 at Ohio.¹ She married George Warrick.¹ Ruth S. Wear died on 17 December 1945 at age 93. She was buried in December 1945 at Hill Grove Cemetery, Miamisburg, Montgomery Co., OH, Findagrave #75174788.

     Shirley May Wear was born on 19 December 1939 at Sedalia, Pettis Co., MO. She was the daughter of David Franklin Wear and Olevia May Snapp. Shirley May Wear died on 15 February 2011 at Wichita, Sedgwick Co., KS, at age 71.

     Theodore G. Wear was born circa 1866 at Pennsylvania.² He was the son of James R. Wear and Martha W. (?)² Theodore G. Wear married Marie Price, daughter of Hon. Nathan Price and Sarah Ellen Pickard, on 15 November 1893.¹

     Theodore G. Wear was born in 1901.¹ He was the son of Theodore G. Wear and Marie Price.¹

     Lena Leota Weast was born on 30 December 1885 at Ross Co., OH; daughter of Henry and Ida (Morgan) Weast. She married Theodore DeHass, son of James Henry Dehass and Martha Emeline Wood. Lena Leota Weast died on 31 January 1954 at Springfield, Clark Co., OH, at age 68

Fatally Hurt as Car Hits Tree

Mrs. Lena Leota DeHaas, 68, of 434 Mirabeau Ave., Greenfield, Ohio died Sunday in City Hospital, Springfield, from injuries suffered when her car struck a tree on Ohio 70, one-half mile south of South Charleston.

State Highway patrolmen said her automobile failed to make a turn, ran off the pavement, then crossed over the highway and struck a tree.

She was going to South Vienna to visit her sister, Mrs. Frank Wipert.

Mrs. DeHass was the widow of Theodore DeHass.
She was born in Ross County on December 30, 1885, a daughter of Henry and Ida Morgan Weast.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Wipert, are four other sisters, Mrs. Vernon Acton of Chillicothe, Route 1, Miss Essie Weast and Mrs. Paul T. Smith, both of Greenfield, and Mrs. C. E. Coleman of Detroit.

A brother and a sister also predeceased her.

Mrs. DeHaas was a member of the Greenfield Methodist Church.

Service will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Murray Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 P.M. Tuesday.

Interment will be in Greenfield Cemetery.

Rites for Auto Victim to be Wednesday

Services for Mrs. Lena Leota DeHaas, 68, of 634 Mirabeau St., Greenfield, fatally injured in a highway accident, will be held Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the Murray Funeral Home in Greenfield with interment in Greenfield Cemetery.

Mrs. DeHaas was fatally injured when her car struck a tree on Route 70, one-half mile south of South Charleston in Clark County near Springfield.
State patrolmen said her auto failed to make a turn, ran off the pavement, then crossed over the highway and struck a tree.

She died at Springfield City Hospital Sunday about 2:30 P.M., a short time following the accident.
She was born in Ross County, Dec. 30, 1885, the daughter of Henry and Ida Morgan Weast.
Her husband, Theodore, a farmer, preceded her in death.

She is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Frank Wipert of South Vienna, Miss Essie Weast of Greenfield, Mrs. E. C. Coleman of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Vernon Acton of Chillicothe Rt. 1 and Mrs. Paul Smith of Greenfield.

One sister and one brother also preceded her in death.
She had lived in the Greenfield area all her life.

She was buried in February 1954, Findagrave #112370610.
