     Martin Weaver was born circa 1816.¹ He was the son of Conrad Weaver and Elizabeth Swartz.¹ Martin Weaver died before 13 December 1878.¹

     Note: B. K. Swartz book shows this individual as a "possible" daughter of George and Rachel (Swartz) Weaver, and gives a birth date of 21 JAN 1817. However, the two families were living adjacent to each other in 1850, and Mary's age is shown as 30, putting her birth year about 1820, it shows her birth location as Virginia, and there is a Harrison County, Indiana marriage record for Mary Weaver to Samuel Bailey. I believe the 1850 census is good evidence of the close kinship, and resolves the incompatibility of the 1817 birth date with the parents' marriage date of August, 1817. DLB 2012.¹

(probably), VA.¹ She was the daughter of George Weaver and Rachel Swartz.¹ Mary Weaver married Samuel Bailey on 16 November 1837 at Harrison Co., IN.^2,1 Mary Weaver married Benjamin Dennison on 13 July 1856 at Harrison Co., IN.³ Mary Weaver lived on 2 July 1870 at Jennings Twp., Crawford Co., IN.⁴

     Mary Elizabeth Weaver married John Pressley Lain, son of James Jackson Lain and Hannah Snyder, on 27 October 1900.¹

     Mary Katherine Weaver was born on 5 November 1913 at New Carlisle, Clark Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of John Franklin Weaver and Callie Etta Cost.¹ Mary Katherine Weaver married George Woodrow Wilson Flick on 25 May 1934 at Clark Co., OH, This marriage failed fairly quickly -- Woodrow remarried on 25 JUN 1938, in Indiana, to Anna May Hall, and lived at New Carlisle and later Tipp City, Ohio. Mary Katherine Weaver married Henry Milton Nickel on 21 October 1940 at Newport, Campbell Co., KY. Mary Katherine Weaver died on 7 July 2018 at Piqua, Miami Co., OH, at age 104

Mary K. Nickel, age 104, of Covington passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Brookdale of Piqua. She was born on November 5, 1913 in New Carlisle to the late John Franklin and Calla Etta (Cost) Weaver.

Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Charles E. and Kay Nickel of Covington; half-brother: Dale Weaver of New Carlisle; half-sisters: Nancy Weaver and Lou Ann Weaver both of New Carlisle; nine grandchildren: Lisa and Craig Niemann of Virginia, Veronica and Kevin French of Piqua, Kevin Nickel of Russells Point, Jason Nickel of Piqua, Mary and Kraig Peters of Bradford, Peggy and Luke Basham of Ansonia, Linda Mead of Pleasant Hill; Rhonda Burgess of Sidney and Karen and Mike Longstreth of Dayton; twelve great grandchildren; nineteen great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Henry M. Nickel; daughters: Virginia Green and Kay Mead; son: Kenneth Nickel; brothers: John “Pete” Weaver and Howard “Jim” Weaver; sisters: Irene Davey and Una Godfrey and eight half siblings.

Mary was a 1933 graduate of New Carlisle High School. She was a longtime member of Covington Christian Church; Covington-Newberry Township Historical Society; Alpha Garden Club; Brukner Herb Club and the former Pierian book club. She was retired from Century Electric, Gettysburg.

Services will be held 10:30AM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Covington Christian Church with Pastor Nick Church officiating. Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00PM on Tuesday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington. Memorial contributions may be made to Covington-Newberry Township Historical Society, Covington Outreach or Covington Christian Church.

     Matilda Weaver was born in October 1812 at Tennessee.¹ She married Henry Davault, son of Gabriel DeWalt and Magdalena Kitzmiller, on 20 June 1830 at Sullivan Co., TN. Matilda Weaver died in 1892. She was buried in 1892 at Cross Cemetery, Piney Flats, Sullivan Co., TN.

     Minerva May Weaver was born on 6 March 1927. She died on 31 August 2003 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 76.

     Morris Weaver married Kate Dimmick. Morris Weaver lived at Coopersburg, Lehigh Co., PA.¹

     Myra Alice Weaver was born on 31 May 1862 at Troutville, Clearfield Co., PA. She married Rev. Emery D. Paulin, son of John Paulin and Sarah Candel, on 26 April 1898. Myra Alice Weaver died on 29 September 1949 at age 87.

     Nancy Dyson Weaver married Benjamin Marshall Jack, son of James Samuel Jack and Rebecca Harriet Winters, on 24 December 1872 at Tipton Co., IN.

     Philip Weaver was born circa 1818.¹ He was the son of Conrad Weaver and Elizabeth Swartz.¹

     Philip D. Weaver was born circa 1825 at Pennsylvania.^1,2 He married Mary McMullen on 9 May 1846 at Washington Co., MD. Philip D. Weaver lived on 9 July 1850 at Hagerstown, Washington Co., MD, Pump maker.¹ He lived on 17 June 1870 at Hedgesville Twp., Berkeley Co., WV, Farming.² He died after June 1870.

     Phoebe Weaver married Jacob Swarts, son of Martin Swartz and Maria Eva Sommer, on 14 August 1816 at Shenandoah Co., VA.¹ Phoebe Weaver died before 9 August 1850 at Harrison Co. (probably), IN.¹

     Phoebe Weaver was born circa 1827 at Harrison Co., IN.¹ She was the daughter of George Weaver and Rachel Swartz.¹ Phoebe Weaver married Clayborn Myers, son of Frederick Myers and Mary Kerbaugh, on 21 March 1852 at Crawford Co., IN. Phoebe Weaver died before 22 June 1860 at Crawford or Harrison Co., IN.

     Rebecca Burris Weaver was born on 12 July 1908 at Stockport, Morgan Co., OH.¹ She married James Delbert Kirkbride Sr. in 1926. Rebecca Burris Weaver lived on 23 April 1940 at Center Twp., Noble Co., OH, farming.¹ She died on 20 November 1999 at Marietta, Washington Co., OH, at age 91.      Richard Lee Weaver was born on 27 January 1948 at Wabash Co., IN. He was the son of Howard Hermann Weaver. Richard Lee Weaver began military service on 20 July 1967 Vietnam War service, U.S. Navy, discharged 19 JUL 1973. He died on 20 November 2000 at Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., IN, at age 52

Richard L. Weaver, 52

BUFFALO – Richard “Rick” L. Weaver, 52, of Buffalo, died at 6:08 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, in Home Hospital.

He was born Jan. 27, 1948, in Wabash County, and was a 1967 Pioneer High School graduate. Since August 1983, he had been the owner of Rick’s Market.

On Jan. 21, 1973, he married Sadonna S. Taylor in Royal Center, and she survives.

Mr. Weaver was a Navy veteran, serving on the USS Tutuila and USS America during the Vietnam War. He was a member and Past Master of Royal Center Masonic Lodge 585, which he played a role in getting built. He also was a member of Royal Center Order of Eastern Star Chapter 375, AMVETS Post 91 and the Pulaski-White County Rural Telephone Corp. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, beagles and Indiana University basketball.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Jill Shannon (husband: Cary) and Kathryn Weaver, both of Buffalo; his parents, Lewis and Doris Jenkins of Royal Center; and a sister, Susie Gray of Pensacola, Fla.

     Robert Weaver was born on 7 April 1920 at Marion, Marion Co., OH. He was the son of Edgar L. Weaver and Bessie Jane Dawson. Robert Weaver married Joyce E. Windle, daughter of Frank Windle and Gladys D. Pinyerd, on 29 October 1964 at Champaign Co., OH. Robert Weaver died on 7 October 1993 at Mercy Medical Center, Springfield, Clark Co., OH, at age 73.

     Robert Andrew Weaver was born on 20 January 1872. He married Dora Greenville Zentmeyer, daughter of George Bright Zentmeyer and Mary Elizabeth Scott, after April 1910. Robert Andrew Weaver died on 16 January 1960 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., VA, at age 87. He was buried in January 1960 at Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Montgomery Co., VA.

     Russell Leonard Weaver was born in 1900. He married Alta Delight Shockey. Russell Leonard Weaver died in 1972.

     Samuel Weaver married Frances (?).

     Samuel Weaver was born circa 1828 at Harrison Co., IN.¹ He was the son of George Weaver and Rachel Swartz.¹

     Samuel Pierce Weaver was born on 11 March 1858. He married Eva Belle Smith, daughter of Jacob Grove Smith and Amanda Lucretia Simpson, on 3 April 1895. Samuel Pierce Weaver died in 1932. He was buried in 1932 at Green Center Cemetery, Rome Twp., Jones Co., IA.

     Solon B. Weaver was born in 1863. He married Ella M. Weaver. Solon B. Weaver died on 14 December 1928. He was buried in December 1928 at Conrad Memorial Cemetery, Kalispell, Flathead Co., MT, Findagrave #16993127.

     Thelma Irene Weaver was born on 25 September 1905 at New Carlisle, Clark Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of John Franklin Weaver and Callie Etta Cost.¹ Thelma Irene Weaver married Paul Anderson Long on 21 November 1923 at Covington, Kenton Co., KY; license reported in the Wednesday, 22 NOV 1923 edition of The Cincinnati Enquirer, page 15, stating the licenses were issued in Covington the previous day. (Newspapers.com). Interestingly, their residences were given as "both of New Carlisle, Ind.".

Paul and Thelma first sought a marriage license about 17 or 19 NOV 1923 (the 18th was a Sunday), in Greene County, Ohio, as documented in the Ohio, U.S., County Marriage Records, 1774-1993 (database online, Ancestry.com), range 1922-1931, image 112. The application information was completed for Paul, who claimed to be 22 years old, and for Thelma, who claimed to be 21, only to the point where her birth date and parental names were to be entered. At that point, the person taking the information wrote in large script "Refused", and that is all the information that appears in the marriage book.

     Verdia Ellena Mae Weaver was also known as "Verdie". She was born on 3 January 1893 at Texas. She was the daughter of Egbert Wilson Weaver and Sarah Martha Herring.¹ Verdia Ellena Mae Weaver married Jacob Elmer Gillmore, son of Ephriam Bradley Gillmore and Mary Emily Hunt, on 29 August 1909 at the home of her parents, Dague Community, Hooker, Texas Co., OK, ceremony by Rev. Martin. Verdia Ellena Mae Weaver died on 15 March 1975 at age 82. She was buried in March 1975 at Britton Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., OK.

     Virginia Ruth Weaver was born on 16 June 1920 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL. She was the daughter of Lewis Fowler Weaver Jr. and Gertrude Bringe.
