     Besse Blanche Wilkins was born on 26 March 1903 at Irwin, Union Co., OH. She was the daughter of George Wilkins and Kertsa Otella Burchnell.¹ Besse Blanche Wilkins married William Robert Kennedy, son of John Kennedy and Virginia C. Tobias, before 24 January 1920. Besse Blanche Wilkins died on 26 March 1984 at London, Madison Co., OH, at age 81. She was buried in March 1984 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Champaign Co., OH, Findagrave #33032379.

     Charles Everett Wilkins was born on 27 January 1887 at Coldwater, Comanche Co., KS. He married Lucille Minnie Kitzmiller, daughter of David Martin Kitzmiller and Louella Jane Vaughn, on 21 May 1910 at Havre, Chouteau Co., MT, per Tracy Devault's notes:

"In 2003 I exchanged several emails with Bruce Wilkins, a great-grandson of Charles Everett Wilkins through his second marriage to Myra Mae Pierce. Bruce said that Lucile M. Kitzmiller married Charles Everett Wilkins on 21 May 1910 in Havre, Chouteau Co., Montana. He went on to say that Charles and Lucile were divorced on 4 January 1913. At first this seems hard to believe. According to the 1910 Census, just three weeks before their marriage, Lucile was living with her parents in Macoupin Co., Illinois and Charles was living in Montana. However, Bruce backs up his assertion with a very clear copy of their marriage license. Bruce goes on to say that Charles lived much of his early life in Macoupin County, Illinois and that is where he met Lucile. There can be no confusion as to this being our Lucile M. Kitzmiller; the marriage license lists her parents, David Kitzmiller and Lou Vaughn.

Five years after Charles married Lucile, he married Myra Mae Pierce. They had a number of children."

Charles Everett Wilkins and Lucille Minnie Kitzmiller were divorced on 4 January 1913. Charles Everett Wilkins died on 26 March 1948 at age 61.

     Cora Wilkins was born on 10 June 1886. She was the daughter of James Daniel Wilkins and Mollie S. Miller. Cora Wilkins married Winfield D. Dawalt, son of James Buchannan Dawalt and Margaret Ann Thompson, on 1 October 1950 at Campbellsburg, Washington Co., IN. Cora Wilkins died on 25 April 1960 at age 73. She was buried in April 1960 at Claysville Cemetery, Vernon Twp., Washington Co., IN.

     Cornelius Carl Wilkins was also known as "Nelis" as per SSDI. He was born on 18 February 1898 at Moral Twp., Shelby Co., IN. He was the son of John W. Wilkins and Mary Jane Curry. Cornelius Carl Wilkins married Viola Regina DeVault, daughter of William Walker DeVault and Estella Mae Pence, on 29 August 1925. License date. Ceremony by Oliver C. Hunt

Online genealogies indicate a marriage location of Dayton, Ohio, however the license was issued in Wayne County, Indiana. A marriage ceremony in Montgomery County, Ohio based on an Indiana marriage license seems farfetched -- the ceremony was more likely in Richmond, Indiana. DLB 2017. Nelis was born (Cornelius)but his name was changed to Nelis Carl. He was the son of John W. and Mary Jane (Curry) Wilkins. Nelis was the brother of: Kathryn, Homer Franklin, Roy William "Bill", Clarence Adam "Jack", and Elmer Lewis "Pete".
After the death of both of his parents in 1919, he lived with his sister, Kathryn and her husband, Ovid Tillison.
He worked for several Moral Township farmers until he moved to Indianapols to live and work.
He was the husband of Viola Regina (DeVault) Wilkins, who he married August 29, 1925.
They were the parents of four children: Doris Mae, Robert Ray, Mary Jane, and Nancy Ann.

He was buried in February 1972 at Orchard Hill Cemetery, Wanamaker, Marion Co., IN.

Wilkins married Virginia Grim on 7 October 1897 at Stoddard Co., MO, two children born, one (Allie) living as of the 1900 census. Harvey E. Wilkins lived on 9 June 1900 at Elk Twp., Stoddard Co., MO.² He married Annie Belle Ingler, daughter of Thornton Menafree Ingler and Hannah J. Grim, circa 1908, two children born, both living as of the 1910 census.³ Harvey E. Wilkins lived on 30 April 1910 at New Lisbon Twp., Stoddard Co., MO.³ He lived on 17 February 1920 at Hollywood, Dunklin Co., MO.⁴ He died on 31 May 1961 at Craighead Co., AR, at age 83.      Iva Wilkins was born circa 1920 at Dunklin Co., MO.¹ She was the daughter of Harvey E. Wilkins and Annie Belle Ingler.¹

She was born in March 1900 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL.^1,2 She was the daughter of Arthur Thomas Wilkins and Cora Isadore Wendell.¹ Marian Wilkins married Arthur James Wigginton, son of Fred J. Wigginton and Katherine Walery, on 10 February 1918 at Blue Island, Cook Co., IL. Marian Wilkins and Arthur James Wigginton were divorced. Marian Wilkins married Conrad August Oetjen. Marian Wilkins and Conrad August Oetjen were divorced. Robert Ray Wilkins, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 26, 2011.

He was born on April 6, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN to Nelis and Viola R. Wilkins.

Ray was a member of Masonic Lodge #564, VFW #5626, Indianapolis Coin Club, Capitol City Conservation Club, the National Rifle Association, and National Muzzle Loading Association. He retired from Link Belt in 1989 where he worked as a Press Operator.

Ray is survived by his son, Jerry Wilkins; daughter, Brenda Kernodle; sisters, Nancy Wilkins, Janie Rosebrock, and Doris Smith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Wilkins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 in the Patriot's Court Chapel at Washington Park East Cemetery.
