     Samuel Willett was born circa 1848 at Union Twp. (probably), Highland Co., OH.¹ He was the son of John Willett and Ann Landess.¹
Note: A Samuel Willett, farmer, age 32, married to Adaline Leonard, whose parents' birth locations are a match to the son of John and Nancy Willett, is found in the 1880 census of Malone, Franklin County, New York. Given his 1870 location in Kansas, it seems most unlikely that this was the same individual. DLB 2012.

     Sarah Ellen Willett was born on 16 September 1863 at Sabetha, Nemaha Co., KS. She was the daughter of Morgan Willett and Mary Ellen Brown. Sarah Ellen Willett married Reuben Sanford Tallman, son of John Commadore Tallman Jr. and Lucinda Lowe, on 26 August 1885 at Pilot Mound, Boone Co., IA. Sarah Ellen Willett died on 28 June 1947 at Paton, Greene Co., IA, at age 83.

     Anna Rose Willey was born on 9 June 1927 at Knox Co. (probably), IL; daughter of Robert and Hattie May (Marshall) Willey.¹ She married Robert D. Derr, son of Mack Derr and Verna B. Windle, on 31 October 1948 at Kewanee, Henry Co., IL. Anna Rose Willey died on 7 October 2014 at Kewanee, Henry Co., IL, at age 87

Anna R. Derr, 87, of Kewanee, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at Kewanee Care Home.

Cremation has been accorded. Private inurnment will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, at a later date. Arrangements are by Rux, Kewanee.

She was born on June 9, 1927. She married Robert D. Derr on Oct. 31, 1948. He died on Sept. 9, 2009.

Survivors include her children, Larry, John Sr., and Bobbie Nebinger, all of Kewanee; sister, Oneata Stringer, Kewanee; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her children, Becky Haberer, Sherry Lynn, Terry Mack; grandson, David; and a sister and two brothers.
