     Note: He was born in Middleburg, Noble, Ohio and then his mother died at a young age, he then went to live with his older sister Ada who married John B. Persing - they lived near the Youngstown area. Ada raised him until his later teens and then he came to the Newark/Hebron/Granville area where he met Catherine Haynes. They were married on July 28, 1928 and moved to Granville sometime after marriage.

The family story is that Hud's (as he was called) father kind of lost it after his wife died and the younger children had to be raised by the older siblings. Hud ended up opening a Chevrolet car dealship in downtown Granville, but he died from a heart attack in 1961 and the dealership closed soon thereafter. He also bought an old sand/gravel quarry at the edge of town a few years before his death and turned it into a swimming area in 1958 known as Lake Hudson. Luther Hudson Williams was born on 14 February 1904 at Middleburg, Noble Co., OH. He was the son of Samuel M. Williams and Myrta May Archer. Luther Hudson Williams married Catherine L. Haynes, daughter of Otto Haynes and Maude Morrow, on 28 July 1928 at Licking Co., OH. Luther Hudson Williams died in November 1961 at Granville, Licking Co., OH, at age 57.

     Lydia Williams married William Sutherland Heazeltine.

     Lyle A. Williams was born on 18 December 1917 at Tehama Co., CA. He was the son of David Oscar Williams and Maude Edith Duncan. Lyle A. Williams married Mildred Christine Lingenfelter, daughter of Frederick John Lingenfelter and Marie Finette McComb, in 1936. Occupation: Elected Sheriff, Tehama County in 1954. Lyle A. Williams died on 3 September 2010 at Red Bluff, Tehama Co., CA, at age 92. He was buried in September 2010 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Red Bluff, Tehama Co., CA, Findagrave #58557147.

     Mamie Russell Williams was born on 12 May 1878 at Franklin Co., KY.¹ She was the daughter of John Russell Williams and Sarah Mattie Buckley.¹ Mamie Russell Williams married Myrt Elmer Fullerton, son of William Fullerton and Rebecca (?), on 21 July 1909.² Mamie Russell Williams died on 14 March 1962 at Annapolis, Anne Arundel Co., MD, at age 83.

     Margaret Williams was born on 12 October 1851. She married John W. Shroyer on 1 January 1872 at Clark Co., OH. Margaret Williams died on 24 August 1930 at age 78. She was buried in August 1930 at New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle, Clark Co., OH, Findagrave #17385722.

     Margaret B. Williams was born on 7 October 1902 at Wayne Co., IL. She was the daughter of Charles W. Williams and Laura E. Barnes. Margaret B. Williams married Edwin J. Stoll, son of Joseph I. Stoll and Anna Rose Iaun. Margaret B. Williams lived on 22 April 1940 at 707 South Elliott Street, Olney, Richland Co., IL.¹ She died on 29 June 1955 at St. Louis, MO, at age 52. She was buried in July 1955 at Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney, Richland Co., IL, Findagrave #59837998.

     Margaret Lucretia Williams was born on 21 September 1861 at Batesville, Noble Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Stephen B. Williams and Minerva Burson.² Margaret Lucretia Williams married John Henry Ankrom.¹ Margaret Lucretia Williams married Charles Theodore Eagon, son of Isaac Eagon and Rebecca Day, circa 1894 at Noble Co. (probably), OH.¹ Margaret Lucretia Williams died on 23 December 1937 at Kennonsburg, Noble Co., OH, at age 76. She was buried in December 1937 at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City, Guernsey Co., OH, Findagrave #35164430.

     Mariah Williams was born on 24 November 1835 at Madison Co., IN.^1,2 She was the daughter of Ralph Williams and Catherine Windell.² Mariah Williams married Isaac W. Ford. Mariah Williams lived on 21 July 1870 at Markleville, Madison Co., IN.³ She was buried at McAllister Cemetery, Madison Co., IN, A headstone exists with her name and date of birth inscribed as well as both birth and death dates for Isaac Ford, but no date of death for Mariah. She may or may not have been buried there. DLB 2017.

     Marie Williams was born circa 1893 at Anderson, Madison Co., IN.¹ She was the daughter of Lorenzo D. Williams and Elizabeth Pickering.¹ Marie Williams married William Vere Rollins, son of James Rollins and Hannah A. Smith.

     Marie Frances Williams was born on 29 November 1873 at Ohio.¹ She married Chester David Kern Sr. on 2 October 1900 at Mahaska Co., IA. Marie Frances Williams died on 24 July 1939 at Nicollet Co., MN, at age 65.

     Marie Juliette Williams was born on 8 August 1876 at Cambridge, Middlesex Co., MA.^1,2 She was the daughter of Maj. William Wilberforce Williams and Lucy Neil.¹ Marie Juliette Williams married Alexander S. Lilley, son of Mitchell Campbell Lilley and Amanda Catherine Brooks, on 27 May 1902 at San Rafael, Marin Co., CA. Marie Juliette Williams lived on 5 January 1920 at 901 California Street, San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA.² She married Maurice Fitzharding George Barclay. Marie Juliette Williams died on 15 August 1956 at Santa Barbara Co., CA, at age 80

Mrs. Juliette Williams Barclay, socially prominent former San Franciscan, died yesterday at her home in Santa Barbara.

The widow of Alexander Lilley, San Francisco business man, who died in 1925, she married Captain Maurice Fitzharding Barclay, formerly of the British Royal Horse Artillery, in 1932. He survives her.

Other survivors are a son, Neil Lilley of New York; a daughter, Mrs. Irwin Hartzel of San Francisco, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Williams Wheeler of Pebble Beach.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Santa Barbara Cemetery Chapel with the Rev. Richard Flagg Ayers of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating.
