Raymond was born March 5, 1948 in Woodstock, son of Alice Kline Windle of Mt. Jackson and the late James Frederick Windle. He was employed at William Hazel Construction for 23 years and a member of the Mt. Jackson Moose Lodge.
Surviving, along with his mother, are his companion Judy Gale of Mt. jackson; stepchildren, Lonnie and Heather Gale of New Market, Leonard and Windy Gale of Woodstock, Krystal Gale of Harrisonburg and two step grandchildren, Cody and Bailey Gale. He was a father and uncle to Darren Ryman. He is also survived by five sisters and five brothers, Joyce and Bobby Keller and Jean and Clark Bauserman all of Woodstock, Betsy and Jerry Hines, Diane Ryman, and Brenda and Gary Lambert all of Mt. Jackson, Fred and Wilma Windle of Edinburg, Steward Windle and Oleta, Harry and Dorothy Windle all of Woodstock, Deryl Windle of Hot Springs, California, T.K. and Pat Windle of Bull Head City, Arizona; eight nephews, Rob Keller, Dwayne Keller, Mike Windle, Philip Bauserman, Darren Ryman, Dusty Ryman, Kevin Windle, Jamie Stout; seven nieces, Karen Hart, Jackie Foley, Rhonda Richard, Delaina Ryman, Amy Thomas, Stacy Windle and Kelly Kyle; also 7 great nephews and 8 great nieces.
