Ida Yota died on 26 March 1996 at McAlester, Pittsburg Co., OK, at age 85. She was buried in March 1996 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Blanco, Pittsburg Co., OK, Findagrave #121214746.
Note: Daughter of Levi and Bertie Ebonowattubbe Yota, Ida was a school classmate of Bertie May Robertson. She was taken into the David and Lindsy Robertson home and raised by the Robertsons after both of her parents were killed in an auto accident. She married Mose O. Pope on 16 MAR 1944 at McAlester and had a daughter Linda who married Jim Humphreys. She was a full-blooded Choctaw, per 1930 census listing.¹

     Almeda Younce was born on 14 January 1867 at Ohio. She was the daughter of Larkin Younce and Catherine Shellabarger. Almeda Younce married Ira Hershey, son of John Hershey and Christianne Hocker, on 12 February 1891 at Miami Co., OH. Almeda Younce died on 25 February 1950 at Iowa at age 83.

Aline F. South, 84, of 105 Coe Ave., died 9:47 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 1986, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, Extended Care Facility.

Born Oct. 11, 1901, in Coshocton, she was a daughter of the late John D. and Hattie (Craig) Young.

She attended Ohio University in Athens and for 19 years was employed at J. C. Penney Co. where she was head of the fashion department. For 19 years she also managed the Coshocton Hat and Dress Shop on Main street until her retirement in 1979.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Grace Fellowhsip and Alpha Pi Sigma sorority.

She was married to Dr. Earl B. South who preceded her in death in 1941.

Survivors include two sons, John C. South of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Richard K. South of 215 State St., Conesville; and three grandchildren.

A sister preceded her in death.

Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at the Free Funeral Home with Dr. William McFadden officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.

Billie J. Wilmes, 86, passed January 31, 2013. Visitation will be Monday, February 4 from 1-2 pm at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 pm. Billie took great pride in her appearance throughout her life. She was always presentable at every occasion and her family will remember her that way. She unconditionally loved her children and grandchildren and it gave her great happiness to spend time with them. She had a wonderful heart and also had a great love for all animals.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; children, Debra, Richard, and Stacey; sister, Vickie Thomas and brother, Terry Young. She is survived by her brother, Jack (Barbara) Young; grandchildren, Rick (Jennifer) and Trevor; great grandchildren, Kaylee and Tyler as well as other family and friends including Pat (Sherrie) Thomas and family and Susie, Jake and Jaxen Gibson who will all miss Billie dearly.
