Mr. Harmon A. Boss, 56, Route 3, Mt. Sterling, died at 10 a.m. yesterday in Mt. Carmel Hospital, Columbus.

He was born March 21, 1905, the son of Howard H. and Zeltha (sic) Toops Boss.

Mr. Boss was a member of the Mt. Sterling Knights of Pythias Lodge.

He is survived by his widow, Thelma; one daughter, Mrs. Joan McConnell, near Mt. Sterling; his father, Howard H. Boss, near Mt. Sterling, four sisters, Mrs. Gladys McCarley, Briggsdale; Mrs. Bessie Williams, Orient; Mrs. Evelyn Longberry, Circleville; and Mrs. Opal Miller, Columbus; two brothers, Cecil Boss, Five Points, and Willard Boss of Cleves, Ohio.

Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow in Snyder Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling. Burial will be in Pleasant Cemetery.

John C. Brown, 77, a retired railroad engineer, of 2105 Ekin avenue, died at 7 o'clock Thursday morning in the residence a few minutes after cutting his throat with a razor.
Despondency over lingering illness was given as the cause by Frank T. Tyler, coroner.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary C. Brown; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Eve, Floyd County, and Mrs. Charles Sweeney, Logansport, and four grandchildren.
Mr. Brown was a member of the Manzanita Tribe of Red Men.

She was buried in December 1946 at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Carr Twp., Clark Co., IN.
