Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Mayes Ward Funeral Homes, Marietta, with the Rev. Cecil W. Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta with the Capitol City Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 111, in charge of graveside services.
Mrs. Jackson, a native of Atlanta, had lived in Cobb County since 1959 and was the widow of Roy S. Jackson Sr., a Southern Railroad engineer. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Smyrna, an Emeritus member of the Capitol City Order of the Eastern Star chapter 111 and a member a member of the Railroad Retirement Club of Atlanta.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Luther M. (Katherine Jackson) Giesler; two sons, Roy S. Jackson Jr., Smyrna, Harry B. Jackson, Johnson City, Tenn; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
She was buried in April 1979 at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA, Findagrave #53419397.
