     Ralph Boyd was born in 1920 at Wayne Co. (probably), MI.¹ He was the son of Leon Jay Boyd and Christina J. Johnstone.¹

     Rebecca A. Boyd was born circa 1832 at Maryland.^2,1 She was the daughter of Marmaduke W. Boyd and Rebecca M. Hogmire.² Rebecca A. Boyd married Daniel Milton Reichard, son of David Reichard and Ann Price, circa 1857.^1,3 Rebecca A. Boyd died after June 1880.

     Rebecca E. Boyd was born on 4 May 1870. She was the daughter of William Boyd and Rachel W. Delancey.

     Rhea Jean Boyd was born circa 1923 at Illinois. She was the daughter of Harry Leander Boyd and Bernice Marie Rhodes.

     Robert Boyd was born circa 1807 at Ireland.¹ He was the son of (?) Boyd. Robert Boyd married Sarah (?) in 1834.¹ Robert Boyd lived in 1850 at Raisin Twp., Lenawee Co., MI.¹
Note: This Robert Boyd is found in the 1840 census, Raisin Township, p.141, with two females born in the 1810 - 1820 period, and one female born in the 1835 - 1840 range in the household. Probably the Sarah B. McConnell, age 14, born in Michigan, listed in his household in 1850, was the same as the young girl listed in 1840. From 1850 on, this couple did not have any of their own children living with them. In 1880, a Leona Conkling, "niece", was living with them. They may not have had any children, or none who survived infancy.

Sarah B. McConnell, born 1836, married John Conkling 6 DEC 1860 in Lenawee County. Sarah's parents, according to the McConnell History 2013 online genealogy prepared by RobertMcConnell82 shows Sarah's parents as David McConnell (1810 - 1901) and Rachel Myers (1815 - 1847). I presume that Robert Boyd's wife was the sister of either David or Rachel. DLB 2014.

Note: Probably the Alexander Boyd, age 27, born Ireland, and his mother Jane Boyd, age 70, born Ireland, listed in the 1870 census in the adjacent dwelling, were the brother and mother of this Robert Boyd. Could this Jane have been the mother of David L. Boyd, born 1841? No, because David L. Boyd's obituary says he was the youngest of eight, yet this Alexander was born about 1843, two years after David. The James Boyd, born about 1823 or 1824, living adjacent to this Robert Boyd in 1880, also looks like he could well have been a brother. DLB 2014.

DLB 2015. He was the son of David Boyd. Occupation: Weaver in 1853 at Ballynamaddy, County Antrim, Ireland. Robert Boyd married Jane Boyd, daughter of James Boyd and Jane (?), on 21 December 1853 at Clough Presbyterian Church, Clough, County Antrim, Ireland, Ceremony by Rev. John Hall. Robert Boyd died on 24 July 1909 at Workhouse, Ballymena, County Antrim, Ireland.

     Robert A. Boyd was also known as "Daddy". He was born on 5 November 1776 at Northumberland Co., PA. He married Hannah (?). Robert A. Boyd died on 9 April 1875 at Mt. Vernon, Linn Co., IA, at age 98.

     Robert Craig Boyd was also known as "Spike". He was born on 23 July 1901 at Mt. Vernon, Linn Co., IA. He was the son of James Craig Boyd and Mabel May Shirer. Robert Craig Boyd married Bertha S. (?). Robert Craig Boyd lived in April 1930 at 4064 Brandon Road, Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA.¹ He lived between 1935 and 1940 at 4612 Sixth Street, Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY.² He died in March 1968 at Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at age 66. He was buried in 1968, Cremated. Cremains originally stored in the Columbarium at Eastern Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky. After deterioration of the columbarium subsequent vandalization, all the cremains in that columbarium were placed by court order in the custody of Prof. Dr. Phil DiBlasi, Department of Anthropology at the University of Louisville, 1820 Arthur Street, Suite #100, Louisville, KY 40208.

Robert Ellis Boyd lived on 16 June 1880 at York Twp., Stafford Co., KS, unmarried, farming.² He married Agnes McFarland, daughter of James McFarland and Sarah A. Stewart, circa 1885, father born Ireland, mother born Indiana, per 1900 census. Seven children born, five living as of the 1900 census.³ Robert Ellis Boyd lived on 20 June 1900 at Precinct 11, Montrose Co., CO, farming.³ He lived on 21 May 1910 at Palisade Precinct, Mesa Co., CO.⁴ He died on 6 June 1915 at Debeque, Mesa Co., CO, at age 59.      Robert Wright Boyd was born on 14 July 1879 at Manhattan, New York Co., NY. He married Elsie Grace Bushong, daughter of Jacob Bushong and Elizabeth Roberts, on 29 May 1906 at Manhattan, New York Co., NY. Robert Wright Boyd died on 22 March 1946 at Scarsdale, West Chester Co., NY, at age 66.

     Rose Anne Boyd was also known as "Rosa".¹ She was born on 17 November 1829 at Spring Mount Townland, County Antrim, Ireland. She was the daughter of James Boyd and Jane (?) Rose Anne Boyd married Joseph Mellon, son of John Mellon, on 28 November 1849 at Presbyterian Meeeting House, Clough, County Antrim, Ireland, Ten children born to the marriage, per Rose's 1900 census information. Looking at the gaps in the births between 1851 - 1857 and also 1862 - 1866, it would appear likely that three infants were lost during the period when the family lived at Geneseo, NY. DLB 2015.^2,3 Rose Anne Boyd lived on 5 July 1860 at Geneseo, Livingston Co., NY.² She lived on 21 July 1870 at Macon Twp., Lenawee Co., MI.¹ She lived on 18 June 1880 at Macon Twp., Lenawee Co., MI.⁴ She died on 17 November 1905 at Macon, Lenawee Co., MI, at age 76 Obit:

Rose Boyd Mellon was born in Springmount, County Antrim, Ireland, in 1929., was married to
Joseph Mellon in '49, came to America in '51 and lived in Geneseo, N.Y., till '65 when she moved
with her family to Macon, Michigan, where she continued to live till her death which occurred
Friday, Nov. 17, 1905. Ten children were born to them, four of whom survive. William of Macon,
Mrs. Eugene Service of Tecumseh, Mrs. Hugh Ager of Manchester, and Joseph, who resided with
her. The funeral was held Monday fore-noon at the church, nearly opposite the Mellon homestead.
A large assemblage of relatives, neighbors and other friends showed the respect and esteem in
which the deceased was held by all. Rev. J. A. DeSpelder preached from Luke 10:42. The burial
took place in Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh.
