     Floy Zelda Brouse was born on 30 June 1894. She was the daughter of Louvesca Douglass Brouse and Edith Lottie Strickler. Floy Zelda Brouse died on 1 November 1894.

     Louvesca Douglass Brouse was born on 9 June 1861. He was the son of William Brouse and Catharine Norman. Louvesca Douglass Brouse married Edith Lottie Strickler, daughter of Henry Price Strickler and Anna Maria Miller, on 21 December 1891.

     Lynn Donald Brouse was the son of Louvesca Douglass Brouse and Edith Lottie Strickler.

     William Brouse married Catharine Norman.

     Brouse died in 1893. He was born on 12 May 1893. He was the son of Louvesca Douglass Brouse and Edith Lottie Strickler.

     Zelma Rae Broussard was born on 3 November 1923 at Beaumont, Jefferson Co., TX. She married Sgt. Samuel Henry Wilson in 1942. Zelma Rae Broussard died on 1 February 2016 at Beaumont, Jefferson Co., TX, at age 92

Zelma Rae Broussard Wilson was born November 3, 1923 and passed away peacefully February 1, 2016. Zelma was born in Beaumont, Texas to Katy Rae Rial Broussard and Thomas M. Broussard. She lived in New Iberia, Louisiana for a short time and moved back to Beaumont. Zelma attended French High School, where she met her husband Sam H. Wilson. They married in 1942.

Throughout their married life, Sam's military career took them from Texas to South Carolina, Washington State, and Oregon, but Beaumont always remained her home. She and Sam had three sons, Samuel "Sammy" H. Jr, Thomas Eugene "Tommy Gene", and William "Billy" Kyle, who were a source of great pride throughout her life. Zelma attended Lamar University and was very proud to be pursuing her higher education after raising her family. She then began a career in interior decorating working for Dallas Williams and Broyhill Gallery furniture stores. She spent twenty-seven years in faithful and honorable service to her vocation, retiring in 1999. Zelma also enjoyed sewing, bowling, dancing in the Saturnalia and Carousel dance clubs, and spending time with her family at her beach house, which she and Sam built with their sons. Zelma was a faithful member of Wesley United Methodist Church since 1967, and she dearly loved her Fidelis Sunday school class.

Zelma is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Thomas "Tommy" Broussard, her husband of fifty-four years, and her beloved son Tommy Gene. She is survived by her son Sammy and his wife Catherine, her son Billy and his wife Rose, her eight grandchildren – Stephen Schafer, Sean Wilson and his wife Stephanie, Amy Carroll and her husband Burton, Kyle Wilson and his wife Stefanie, Will Wilson, Ben Wilson, Brandon Wilson and Blake Wilson, and six great-grandchildren – Kaylee, Kameron, Gracie, Tommy, Wayden, and Immanuel. Also surviving Zelma are her sister Dorothy Vercher, her brother George "Bruce" Broussard, her lifelong friend and sister-in-law Joy Fairchild, along with many special nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Zelma spent her final years at Atria Collier Park where she made many friends and enjoyed happy times. Her family is filled with gratitude for the many wonderful people at Collier Park who cared for Zelma while she lived there. In her final days, Zelma was lovingly cared for by Linda McGraw and her staff at YaYa Assisted Living House.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Wesley United Methodist Church, or a special charity of one's choice.

Visitation services will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Friday, February 5 from 4-7 pm. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, February 6 at 11 am. Pallbearers are Sean Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Will Wilson, Ben Wilson, Brandon Wilson and Blake Wilson.

She was buried in February 2016 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Beaumont, Jefferson Co., TX.

     Samuel L. Browder was born on 10 September 1868; son of John Jefferson and Elizabeth J. (Lotspeich) Browder. He married Elizabeth M. Patterson, daughter of Judge Newton Alexander Patterson and Mary Susan Reeves, on 27 April 1898 at Vineland, Washington Co., TN; Ceremonty by Rev. G. S. Petty. Samuel L. Browder died on 30 December 1927 at Johnson City, Washington Co., TN, at age 59. He was buried in January 1928 at Monte Vista Memorial Park, Johnson City, Washington Co., TN, Findagrave #110139481.

     Adelaide C. Brower was born on 25 May 1863 at Doylestown, Bucks Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan Pennypacker Brower and Catherine A. Weaver.¹ Adelaide C. Brower married Dr. William J. Dey Ermand, son of William J. Dey Ermand and Harriet Townsen, on 15 September 1904.¹

     Note: Did not marry. Adelaide Catherine Brower was born on 20 November 1839.¹ She was the daughter of Christian Brower and Catharine Price.¹ Adelaide Catherine Brower lived in 1926 at 363 North Main St., Doylestown, Bucks Co., PA.¹

     Amelia de Bree Brower was born on 19 April 1856 at Doylestown, Bucks Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan Pennypacker Brower and Catherine A. Weaver.¹ Amelia de Bree Brower married Joseph R. D. Seeds on 14 January 1897, No children.² Amelia de Bree Brower died on 4 July 1921 at age 65.²

     Amelia de Bree Brower was born on 31 October 1889.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Weaver Brower and Minnie J. Grubb.¹ Amelia de Bree Brower married Rev. Alfred S. Dingee circa 1919, No children as of 1930 census.¹

     Amelia Douglass Brower was born on 26 February 1815 at Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Christian Brower and Catharine Price.¹ Amelia Douglass Brower married William T. de Bree, son of John de Bree and Catherine Taylor, on 22 June 1834.¹ Amelia Douglass Brower married Robert Johnson on 5 November 1857.¹ Amelia Douglass Brower died on 3 June 1882 at age 67.¹ She was buried in June 1882 at Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown, Bucks Co., PA, Findagrave #88136531.

     Annie U. Brower was born on 24 August 1850.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan Pennypacker Brower and Catherine A. Weaver.¹ Annie U. Brower married William P. Schlecht, son of John Martin Schlecht and Anna Ridenauer, on 10 April 1880.¹ Annie U. Brower died on 20 January 1921 at age 70.¹

     Betty Brower was born circa 1922 at Montgomery Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Christian Harry Brower and Anna Quigley.¹

     Catharine Price Brower was born on 24 October 1854 at Doylestown, Bucks Co., PA, 1856 per Price book, but census info indicates 1 or 2 years earlier.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan Pennypacker Brower and Catherine A. Weaver.¹ Catharine Price Brower married Frank Booth, son of Richard Booth and Hannah Naylor, on 19 November 1877.¹ Catharine Price Brower died on 11 October 1912 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH, at age 57.¹

     Catherine Brower was born on 22 September 1865 at Doylestown, Bucks Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan Weaver Brower and Emily Tomlinson.¹ Catherine Brower married Harry Morris, son of Evan J. Morris and Henrietta Smith, on 29 December 1887, Ceremony by Rev. H. R. Robinson.¹ Catherine Brower died on 24 January 1899 at age 33.¹

     Catherine Weaver Brower was born on 20 April 1903.¹ She was the daughter of Christian Brower and Catherine E. Aulenbach.¹ Catherine Weaver Brower married Edward Buler on 18 May 1918.¹

     Christian Brower was born on 11 September 1784.¹ He was the son of Daniel Brower and Frances Reiff. Christian Brower married Catharine Price, daughter of Daniel Price and Hannah Baugh, on 13 March 1814 at Coventry German Baptist Church, Coventry, Chester Co., PA, Ceremony by her father, Rev. John Price.¹ Christian Brower died on 22 June 1869 at age 84.¹ He was buried in June 1869 at Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown, Bucks Co., PA, Findagrave #88128598.

     Note: Christian Brower apparently had a prior marriage -- do not think Catherine Aulenbach was the mother of Anna Brower who was born in 1891. Christian Brower was born on 18 November 1864 at Doylestown, Bucks Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Nathan Pennypacker Brower and Catherine A. Weaver.¹ Christian Brower married Catherine E. Aulenbach, daughter of Franklin Aulenbach and Anna M. Reinoehl, on 30 March 1896 at Sumneytown, Montgomery Co., PA.² Occupation: Stationary engineer in 1910.³ Christian Brower lived on 2 May 1910 at Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA, The street name appears to be "Rohn", which could be correct but no such street exists at Norristown today. DLB 2015. He lived in 1926 at Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA.² He died after 9 April 1934.

     Christian Harry Brower was born on 16 January 1897 at Robersonia, Montgomery Co., PA, Christian's military and SSDI dates show 1896 in lieu of 1897. However that would put his birth three months before his parents' marriage. It is more likely that Wanger got the correct date as shown in his book, and Christian "enhanced" his age for enlistment in the Army in World War I. DLB 2015.¹ He was the son of Christian Brower and Catherine E. Aulenbach.¹ Christian Harry Brower married Anna Quigley, daughter of James J. Quigley and Katherine M.
