Joseph Conrad lived in 1831 at Outlot No. 21, Strasburg, Shenandoah Co., VA, Joseph Conrad and Jacob Sonner Sr. purchased the entire five acres of Outlot #21 from the heirs of Rev. Simon Haar after his death. On 3 SEP 1831, Jacob Sonner Sr. purchased half of the property from the heirs of Joseph Conrad. Margaret was apparently already deceased as she was not mentioned in the deed.

Conrad lived on 22 August 1870 at Battelle Twp., Lewis Co., WV, Farming. Three teenage Garrett children, Eliza, Mary, and William were living with the Joseph Conrad family. I assume these were children of a brother of Nancy Anne's. DLB 2017.³ He lived on 18 June 1880 at Collins Settlement District, Lewis Co., WV, Farming.⁴ He lived on 14 June 1900 at Glenville District, Gilmer Co., WV.² He died on 3 July 1916 at Gilmer Co., WV, at age 86.

     Julia Conrad was born on 6 July 1871 at Concord Twp., Miami Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Johannes Conrad and Franziska Catharina Rebholz.¹ Julia Conrad married John Craig after 15 June 1900. Julia Conrad died on 23 June 1921 at Miami Co., OH, at age 49. She was buried in June 1921 at Riverside Cemetery, Concord Twp., Miami Co., OH.
