Jessie A. Jackson, 95, of Shelbyville, died at 2:05 p.m. Friday at the Heritage Manor.

Jackson was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Shelby County. She was a member of Mt. Auburn Christian Church.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Horner officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 9 p.m Sunday. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery.

Born August 5, 1895 in Carwood, Jackson was the daughter of Fred and Sara E. Johnson Coombs. She married Sylvester N. Wilson on June 4, 1918. He died June 12, 1953. She married Fred Jackson on Dec. 8, 1957. He died May 26, 1980.

Survivig are sons Robert Wilson of Bremen, Russell Wilson of Nineveh, Ray Wilson of Shelbyville and Harold Wilson of Lexington, N.C; daughter Dorothy Furgeson of Shelbyville; a stepdaughter, 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

She was buried in May 1991 at Miller Cemetery, Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IN, Findagrave #93234701.
