     Donald McClellan Copeland was born on 2 June 1932 at Locust Grove, Adams Co., OH. He was the son of Asa Milton Copeland and Ethel Gay Roderick. Donald McClellan Copeland married Mary Roberta Cline, daughter of John Paul Cline and Dollie Dell Robertson, in 1949. Donald McClellan Copeland grew up on the outskirts of Peebles, Ohio. While attending the Locust Grove School, he worked with his father and brothers on the family sawmill on Hackleshin Road. When Donald married Mary Roberta Cline, her father John Paul Cline took Donald in as an apprentice teaching him the skills of a carpenter and cabinet maker. Donald's trade grew. In 1959 he moved his family to Dayton, Ohio where he continued building his construction skills. In the 1970s Donald relocated to Sarasota, Florida where he became more involved in commercial construction, building condominiums, shopping centers and office buildings there.

After the loss of his wife Mary Roberta Cline, Donald moved back to Peebles, Ohio and on October 3, 2007, he married a childhood friend and widow, Eliza Ann Workman Grabill. Donald and Annie lived in Hillsboro for a while but when he became ill, Donald was transferred to the Hospice Center at Adams Regional Hospital where he died on May 7, 2014.

He was buried in May 2014 at Locust Grove Cemetery, Peebles, Adams Co., OH, Findagrave #153351261.

     Dora B. Copeland was born on 2 August 1880 at Illinois. She married Russell Joseph Whittaker on 22 May 1898 at Malden, Dunklin Co., MO. Dora B. Copeland died on 25 October 1957 at Genesee Co., MI, at age 77. She was buried in October 1957 at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Genesee Co., MI, Findagrave #67764392.

     Ruth Copeland was born on 22 March 1893 at Chautauqua Co., KS.¹ She was the daughter of George Harvey Copeland and Indiana Priscilla Harmon.¹ Ruth Copeland married Willard A. Sappenfield, son of James B. Sappenfield and Elizabeth Lucinda Davis. Ruth Copeland died on 8 January 1963 at Bucklin, Ford Co., KS, at age 69.

     Wilson William Copeland was also known as "Doc". He was born on 9 April 1936 at Streator, La Salle Co., IL; son of Wilson Woodrow and Florence J. (Dodge) Copeland. He married Jacqueline Wright, daughter of John Edward Wright Sr. and Marcella Detmering; William was first married to Marie Evans (1930-1978) in 1974. STREATOR — Wilson W. "Doc" Copeland, 76, of Streator, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator.

Burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Wilson was born April 9, 1936, in Streator, to Woodrow and Florence (Dodge) Copeland.

Surviving is son, William (Julie) Copeland, of Streator; daughter, Denise (Robert) Lepore, of Streator; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one due in January; and sister, Virginia "Sissy" Thomas, of Secor, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wilson attended Streator schools. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959 and then worked for EJ&E Railroad in Joliet from 1969 to 1991.

He was buried in September 2012 at Riverview Cemetery, Streator, La Salle Co., IL, Findagrave #97286346.
