Shelby D. Curlee

Services for Shelby Duncan Curlee, 73, Woodbury, who died Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Woodbury Nursing Center after an extended illness, are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Woodbury Funeral Home Chapel with burial in in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Lubrano will officiate.

His parents were the late Ephram and Jimmie White Jamerson Curlee, and he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Curlee.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. June Papineau Curlee of Woodbury; three sons, Gary of Curlee, Mich., John of Warren, Mich., Toby Curlee of Edgewater, Fla; three daughters, Susan Grace Fry of Michigan, Patricia Lynn Rains, Rebecca Dolores Walls, both of Woodbury; brother, Bob Curlee of Tullahoma; sister, Betty Bates of North Carolina; and 18 grandchilldren.

A member of the Catholic Church, he was a retired mill wright with Samsonite Corp.

Visitation will be held until 9 tonight at Woodbury Funeral Home.

David Leigh Curry

LINCOLN -- David Leigh Curry, 30, of Lincoln was dead at 7:17 a.m. Monday (May 29, 1989) at Hickory Lane Campground, rural Atlanta. The Logan County coroner's office, which is handling the investigation, said foul play is not suspected.

His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holland & Barry Funeral Home, Tom Gerdts officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Lincoln.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born June 26, 1958, in Lincoln, a son of Bud and Nancy E. Ritchhart Curry. He married Ann Gleason, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, David James and Justin Tyler, both of Lincoln; one daughter, Jaymie Ellen Curry, Lincoln; his parents, Lincoln; three brothers, Robert, Greg and Jeff, all of Lincoln; one sister, Suzi Alsup, Lincoln; and his maternal grandmother, Wilma Ritchhart, Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Mr. Curry was a packer at Ball-Incon Packaging, Lincoln. He was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and the U.S. Trotting Association.

Memorials may be made to the church or to Ronald McDonald House.
