A graduate of Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, Mr. Dailey received his BA degree at the University of Alabama, where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He attended the University of Alabama Law School. He served as a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He was Affiliated through the years with Liberty National Insurance Company, the Housing Authority of Birmingham, and the Small Business Administration. He was a long time member of the Episcopalian Church.
He is survived by a son, Will Dailey of Birmingham.
A graveside service will be held at the Mexica Baptist Church Cemetery, outside of Monroeville, AL on Saturday, August 3, at 11:00 a.m.
