MAYSVILLE – Charlie K. Dameron, 90, a teacher in the Aberdeen, Ohio, school system for several years, died at 7:35 p.m. Friday in the Hayswood Hospital here after suffering a stroke. He was a resident of Mason County after his retirement, was a native of Ohio, a member of the Aberdeen Baptist Church and the Aberdeen Masons and was a former mayor of Aberdeen.
He is survived by a son, Lee Dameron, Maysville and a daughter, Mrs. Sylvester Eveslage, Ripley, Ohio.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Porter and Clay Funeral home here. Burial will be in the Aberdeen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m.

Her sister Mary Malinda Dammrose was, according to her birth record, a daughter of Edna's first husband Michael Dammrose, but he passed in 1907. The 1920 census lists both Mary and Rose with surname "Damroce" (Dammrose), step-daughters of John Craighead, who Edna married in 1918. So neither Michael Dammrose nor John Craighead was Rose's biolgical father. She used the Craighead surname until she married.
She married Gregg Duane Gibney, son of Otto Warren Gibney and Ruth G. DaVault, in 1959 at Reno, Washoe Co., NV; Rose was first married to Rean Grubbe in 1930, divorced without children and resumed her maiden name, then remarried to Ralph Rychard in 1942, divorced without children in 1943, remarried to Fred Cellars before the April 1950 census and was divorced from him when she and Gregg Gibney were married.
Rose Lily Dammrose died on 21 January 1991 at age 78. She was buried in January 1991 at Applegate Family Cemetery, Yoncalla, Douglas Co., OR, Findagrave #117303260.
