Katherine Elizabeth, died May 15, 1986 at Mercy Hospital. She came to Oklahoma City in 1945 at which time she was a helpmate to her husband through Law School. She then worked as a Legal Secretary in his practice until her demise. She is survived by her husband, Randle L. Graham J.D., daughter Janice G. Morton D.D.S., sons Randle L. Graham II, J.D. of Oklahoma City and Gregory Joe Graham J.D. of Denver, Colorado. Grandchildren, Angela Graham, Matthew Graham, Shawn Morton, Holly Graham, Melissa Graham, and Nathan Graham. A host of relatives and friends. Services will be at Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 1 PM Monday, May 19, 1986, with burial at Resurrection Cemetery.

     Leta Jean Davis was born on 2 September 1952 at Ft. Chaffee, Sebastian Co., AR. She was the daughter of Thomas Edward Davis and Norma Jean Price. Leta Jean Davis married Freddie Gene Pennington, son of Fred Pennington and Tessie Jane Baker, on 8 June 1974. Leta Jean Pennington passed too soon from our loving grasp September 14, 2012.

She was born September 2, 1952 at Ft. Chaffee, Arkansas and was a 1970 graduate of Mooreland HS in Oklahoma. She moved to Denton in 1972 where she met and married "her rock and her life", Fred, in 1974. She retired from UNT Admissions Department in 2006 where she ushered many freshman through the confusion of enrollment for over 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Jean Davis and one very short year ago, her husband, Freddie Gene Pennington. She is survived by her brother, Thomas "Buddy" Davis and wife Melissa, her sister, Rebecca Price and husband, Red, mother-in-law Tessie Pennington, her sister-in-law, Imogene Grotte Pennington, her sister-in-law, Patsy Pennington Cave and husband James and her very special sister of the heart and best friend, Rita Frost and husband Bill. She is especially missed by her feline fur-baby, Whitey, affectionately known as "Psycho-kitty".

She had 10 nieces and nephews along with many great-nieces and nephews who could always count on their Aunt Leta to remember birthdays and the special events of their lives either by presents or parties. Her passing creates a great gap in their lives but leaves in place such sweet memories.

Her remaining aunts, uncles, cousins and friends have shown an abundance of concern during her sudden and devastating illness. Her family is extremely grateful for the care and unconditional support shown by family, friends and especially the staff of The Atrium and Odyssey Hospice.

Jacob Haas and Catharine Pitman, on 5 March 1848 at Harrison Co., IN. Letitia Davis died on 22 March 1900 at Harrison Co., IN, at age 71. She was buried in March 1900 at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Harrison Co., IN.

Lillian Shankle

A celebration of life will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at 21654 Vaughn Road in Veneta for Lillian V. Shankle of Noti, who died Jan. 5 of age-related causes. She was 83.

She was born Oct. 15, 1926, in Belcourt, N.D., to John and Margaret Davis. She married Ron Shankle in Noti in 1946. He died in September 2007.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Ronda Shankle of Noti; three sons, Mike and Pat, both of Noti, and Shawn of Walton; a sister, Emma Monette of Belcourt; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son, Gene, and a daughter, Julie Ann, died previously.

Services for Lou Aline Marticke, 64, of 742 Elm Ave., Imperial Beach, will be tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at Pinkham Imperial Beach Mortuary chapel.

Born in Canton, Tex., Mrs. Marticke was a county resident 23 years. She died Tuesday in a Chula Vista hospital.

Her husband, Harolk A., a daughter, Sharon Bilbray of Imperial Beach; two grandsons and two half brothers survive. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
