     Mary Elizabeth Eby was born in 1834 at Manheim, Rapho Twp., Lancaster Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of George Eby and Dorothea Fritchey. Mary Elizabeth Eby married John Howe Bucher on 10 April 1856. Mary Elizabeth Eby died on 27 May 1919.

     Mary Jane Eby was born on 9 February 1883 at Steelton, Dauphin Co., PA. She was the daughter of Harry C. Eby and Mary A. Steel.

Susan Gertrude Eby died on 8 February 1920 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH, at age 58. She was buried in February 1920 at Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum, Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH.

     Theodore P. Eby was born on 28 December 1828 at Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., PA.¹ He was the son of George Eby and Dorothea Fritchey. Theodore P. Eby married Elizabeth Heikes circa 1846.² Theodore P. Eby lived in July 1870 at Union, Randolph Twp., Montgomery Co., OH.³ He married Fanny (?) circa 1895.⁴ Theodore P. Eby died in 1921 at Hillsborough Co., FL.

     Mary Echelberry was born on 17 September 1810 at Muskingum Co., OH. She married Joseph C. Clapper, son of George Michael Clapper Sr. and Elizabeth Souder, in 1827. Mary Echelberry died on 25 November 1890 at Brush Creek Twp., Muskingum Co., OH, at age 80.

     Hubert H. Echols was born on 1 May 1907 at West Virginia. He lived in 1930, In the 1930 Census, Hubert is listed as a prisoner in the Fort Hancock Guard House, Monmouth County, New Jersey. He married Mary Olive Kitzmiller, daughter of John Eldridge Kitzmiller and Frances Elizabeth Hammet, on 15 August 1935 at Bristol, VA, In 1929 Hubert was married to Iva Hall (Iva A. Burdett). They had a daughter, Maggie Opal (Echols) Johnston. Hubert H. Echols lived on 5 April 1940 at Civil District 18, Sullivan Co., TN, farm truck driver.¹ He died on 16 January 1971 at Sullivan Co., TN, at age 63

Hubert Echols

Hubert Echols, 63, Route 11 (Beulah Community), died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday at his home after a short illness.

He was employed by the City of Kingsport as the operator of the Church Circle Parking Lot. He attended the Baptist Church.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mary Kitzmiller Echols, Kingsport; daughter, Mrs. C. L. Dickert, Kingsport, son, James Herbert Echols, Kingsport.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Carter's Chapel.

ECHOLS, HUBERT

Funeral services for Hubert Echols, of Route 11, Beulah Community, who died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday at his home after a short illness. He was employed by the City of Kingsport as the operator of the Church Circle Parking Lot. He was born in West Virginia and attended the Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 p.m. Tuesday at Carter's Chapel with the Rev. J. W. Depew officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be members of the Kingsport Police Department. Carter's Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are George Rogers, Billy Mitchell, Jessie Parsons, Howard Sullon, George Cox, and Eugene Spears.

     Margaret D. Echols was born in 1846 at Craig Co., VA.¹ She married Robert P. Holliday on 25 July 1866 at Giles Co., VA.¹

     Everett Thomas Eckard married Esther Caroline Siders.

     Lorraine Odell Eckard was born on 27 February 1953. She married Michael Van Brocklin, son of Donald Gingrich Van Brocklin and Dorothy Chambers. Lorraine Odell Eckard died on 28 June 2010 at Nevada at age 57.

     Lester Frank Eckart was born on 28 March 1917. He married Anna Elizabeth Elbert, daughter of Sidney Matthew Elbert and Alberta Crecelius, on 24 November 1937. Lester Frank Eckart died on 7 February 1995 at age 77.

     Lester Evans Ecke was born on 28 April 1903 at Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac Co., WI. He married Ruth Ann Skinner, daughter of Leslie Reid Skinner and Ethel Louise Windle, before 1954, no evidence of children. Lester Evans Ecke died on 14 July 1977 at Mendocino Co., CA, at age 74.
