The funeral of Mrs. Lunsford P. Yandell, who died of pneumonia Wednesday at Nashville, Tenn., was held at 11 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of Dr. W. O. Roberts, 1630 Third avenue, and was conducted by the Rev. John Mockridge. The interment, in Cave Hill cemetery, was private. The pallbearers were Judge Fontaine T. Fox, Charles Petitt, R. W. Knott, Gen. John B. Castleman, Judge Randolph Blain, Edwin Whitney, Alex G. Barret and E. Q. Knott.

"Erna H. Windle --- Erna H. Windle, 75, Liberal, died July 11, 1995 at the Liberal Good Samaritan Center. She was born Jan. 26, 1920, in Edwards County to Albert L. and Annie E. Trammell Elmore. She was married to Clifford C. Windle on April 21, 1964. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1992. She was a member of the Federated Church at Spearville. She resided in Spearville for 10 years, working in Dodge City as a lab technician. She moved to Weslaco, Texas in 1964 and to Liberal in 1992. Survivors include a son, Dean Seltsam, Corpus Christi, Texas; a stepson, Clarence Windle, Liberal; a stepdaughter, Wilma Russell, Kansas City, Kan; a brother, Floyd Elmore, Billings, Mo; two sisters, Ethel Corbett, Cherryvale, and living sister; two grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the Greencrest Memorial Cemetery, Dodge City, by the Rev. Charles Winkler. Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
