     Sabina Farrington was also known as "Bina". She was born on 11 January 1865 at Shelby, Richland Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Abraham Farrington and Anna Delilah West.¹ Sabina Farrington married William F. Fuller, son of Benjamin Fuller and Anna Hewitt, on 23 December 1895 at Ashtabula Co., OH, Two children born, one living (Benjamin) as of the 1900 census. 1910 census indicates married 14 years, second marriage for both Bina and William.² Sabina Farrington died on 18 April 1949 at Lyons, Fulton Co., OH, at age 84.      Abigail Farris was born on 14 March 1851 at Salem Twp., Highland Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Uriah Farris and Sarah Phoebe Roush.¹ Abigail Farris married Benjamin F. Pointer, son of Benjamin Pointer and Susannah Euvrard, on 22 April 1869 at Marion Co., IA; 3 children born, all living as of 1900 census. Abigail Farris died on 24 August 1920 at Canada Precinct, Polk Co., NE, at age 69.

     Albert Farris was born on 26 September 1901 at Wayne Co. (probably), IL.¹ He was the son of William Farris and Alice Trotter.² Albert Farris married Loretta Myrtle Simmons, daughter of Asa Alva Simmons and Nellie Louise Molt.¹ Albert Farris died on 17 August 1990 at age 88 dates per SSDI.

     Barbara Ann Farris was born on 18 January 1938 at Oklahoma.¹ She was the daughter of Floyd Elmer Farris and Laura Belle Larimore.¹ Barbara Ann Farris was degree PhD., English, University of Oklahoma. She died on 7 January 2016 at age 77

GRAVES, Barbara Farris Barbara Farris Graves, born January 18, 1938, died peacefully in her daughter's home on January 7, 2016. In spite of her diagnosis of cancer 10 years ago, Barbara maintained a positive outlook and strong faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Laura and Elmer Farris and her brother Jim Farris. Barbara is survived by her son Steve Graves, daughter Lauren Graves, and brother Ken Farris. She was much loved by her family including daughter-in-law Dixie Graves; son-in-law Ray Chen; grandchildren Jackson, Kerri, Eleanor, and Elijah; sisters-in-law Marcia and Ginna; and her nieces and nephews David, Sheb, Doug, Brian, and Anna. Barbara earned a PhD in English from the University of Oklahoma and taught at Greenhill School in Dallas for over 25 years where she touched the lives of many students and faculty in ways that live on today. She was proud to be invited to the U.S. Army War College in 1978 as a civilian participant in the National Security Seminar and of the book Lyric Voices which she wrote with Don McBain on rock and roll lyrics as poetry. Of herself she says, "As much as I considered myself a feminist who wanted a world of cooperation and peace rather than competition and conflict, I treasured family above all." Memorials may be made to Greenhill School or to the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration. A memorial service celebrating Barbara's life will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 2pm at The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, 14115 Hillcrest Rd, Dallas, TX.

Mrs. Francis Warner was the honored guest at a delightful pink and blue shower given Friday for her by Mrs. Milford Dowdy and Mrs. Alfred Centers at the home of Mrs. Dowdy in Tenmile. The gift table was centered with a doll buggy in which were a boy and girl doll. Pink and blue streamers hung from the buggy over the pink and blue covered table.

Game prizes were won by Mrs. Jack Wilson, Mrs. Alfred Huntley, and Mrs. Don Lakey. Mrs. Warner openeed her many lovely gifts after which delicious refreshments were served by the hostesses.

     John Joseph Farris was born on 5 November 1932 at Youngstown, Mahoning Co., OH; son of George F. and Tackla "Tillie" (Nasser) Farris, immigrants from Syria. He began military service on 3 September 1952 Korean War service, U.S. Air Force, A1C, discharged 2 SEP 1956. He died on 5 January 2001 at Mahoning Co., OH, at age 68. He was buried in January 2001 at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown, Mahoning Co., OH.

     John Speed Farris was born on 19 September 1910 at El Paso, El Paso Co., TX. He was the son of Joseph Thomas Farris and Willie Ellen Carpenter. John Speed Farris began military service WW II service, U.S. Army. He married Anna Arline Ziegler, daughter of Harvey Paul Ziegler and Anna Pearl Davis, in 1947 at Washington Co., MD. John Speed Farris died on 21 December 1981 at Tampa, Hillsborough Co., FL, at age 71

He was employed by Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown. He was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene Ziegler Farris; daughter, Carol Sue Farris, Ca; son, John S. Farris, Jr., Ca; one foster son, Jack Keagy, Tampa; sister, Mary Nailoux, Ca; two brothers, James Farris, Arizona; and Ray Farris, Ca; and one grandson.

Graveside services were held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
