Lisa M. Carmack, 27, Lone Jack in Jackson County, died June 7, 1993, at the home. Services will be at I a.m. Thursday at the Langsford-Cox Chapel; burial in Brooking Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 10 9 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Carmack was born in Lanstuhi (sic), Rhinéland, Germany, and lived in this area most of her life She had been a senior accounting clerk for the Employers Reinsurance Corp. since 1990. ‘She was a member of the Lone Jack Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Carmack Jr. of the home; her parents, Kenneth W. and Nina Sue Sloan of Lone Jack; a sister, Cynthia Bordner, Lee's Summit, her maternal grandparents, John and Mary Searcy; and her paternal grandparents, Chet and Doris Sloan, all of Lone Jack; and a paternal great-grandmother, Pearl Sloan, Farmington Mo.

Bernard's parents were Edward J. Malone (1899-1966) and Pearl (Romero) Malone (1901-1972. His brother was Donald Joseph Malone (1923-1993).
Bernard Malone, 86, of Coronado died Friday. He was born in San Diego and was a San Diego marshal and real estate broker. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW Post 2422.
Survivors include his wife, Doria Malone; daughter, Bernice Dietlein; sons, Gary Malone and Ron Malone; stepdaughters, Kathy Kuhn, Susie Winston and Mickey Boelter; and six grandchildren.
His obituary appeared in The San Diego Union-Tribune, February 12, 2008 edition.
